Same...I think the fact that there were soo many misunderstandings just rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't get into the storyline like I did before. I was moved more by the Boer Dream tragedy even though there were more misunderstandings there, maybe because Ming Ye and Sang Jiu truly loved one another but here it seems all one sided from TTJ.
The tower scene was so hyped up by everyone but when it played out it didn't even leave that big of an impact on me. I'm curious, was this how y'all expected it to be or was it lower than your expectations? I had to eyeroll at the fact that Binchang was saved again...

Necrophiliac vibes this ep with TTJ haha. It's kind of funny that he didn't die yet in the ice... Also the makeup on Qingyu makes him look really crazy, even crazier than TTJ Didn't Qingyu also think that YXW killed their grandma? Did he forget about that and blame everything on TTJ...
Tan Tai Jin is quite toxic. It's getting difficult to like him now, he just uses loneliness and pity for audiences…
That's odd, I find it's been quite the opposite. They've written TTJ as a likable character - he's a good, just ruler and he doesn't harm other people unless they have harmed him or those around him.
Meanwhile, in these recent eps I've found YXW less likable. I still like her compared to other female characters, but her actions and repetitive betrayal are getting old
