Man I was looking forward to TTJ and YXW talking things out, and Bitcheng getting the punishment she deserves. I almost forgot Minglang existed lol. I guess those things will happen next ep
The moment when YXW doesn't take TTJ's hand at the wedding scene...I felt so sad seeing TTJ's expression. Good thing she did it the second time though T^T
I'M SO PISSED. Im 10 min into episode 26 and it doesn't explain the logic behind YXW disowning her family??? Everyone…
also I'm mad that after YXW returns to TTJ she's just like "let's not talk about what happened anymore" like WTF. I thought YXW would have learned from the dream arc not to avoid talking things out...
she disowned her family to save them from being executed after she stabs TTJ with the nails
I know now after finishing the episode. I was so pissed in the 10 min mark that I had to type it lol. It's just weird that she never asks or confirms about TTJ killing the grandma before the wedding, and nobody else straight out asks her about killing the grandma. If either side outright asked this could have been all avoided. But the plot got to move forward this way I guess.
I don't know if I can give this drama a 10/10 anymore TToTT These last several episodes with YXW constantly thinking TTJ did something bad first and both of them misunderstanding is making me stressed. I really hate the misunderstanding and miscommunication trope, maybe once is ok but how many times has YXW misunderstood??? I gave it a pass during the dream arc because it wasn't reality and I thought the irl characters were meant to learn from it, but instead they make the same mistake....and I hate how all of this is due to one evil female character too, which they have been treating the same even though it was revealed how wicked she is they're still lenient with her.
In the dungeon scene, I absolutely agree with Tantai Jin when he told Ye Xiwu that his pain was greater than hers.…
Agree with this. Except I hate that people are STILL being nice to Bitchang, even Xiao Lin in his goodbye letter. I bet because he wrote for TTJ to take care of Bitchang TTJ is going to honor that even though she's the one who caused everything smh...
I haven't read the novel, but I really hate the way they wrote Ye Xiwu these past few episodes. I gave her a pass when she misunderstood TTJ in the beginning episodes because she wasn't that close to him yet. But time and time again she jumps to conclusions, thinks he's the one who killed the grandma, and causes herself and others to suffer the consequences. I really hate this misunderstanding trope and wish it wasn't written this way. Was it like this in the novel as well?
She got the original message that her grandma had died AFTER TTJ visited the family (because whoever informed…
Right?? Her brother was like "why did you kill grandma" and she didn't question it? These last two episodes had me facepalm at how they wrote LSS. I'm glad Bitchang let the cat out of the bag so that LSS finally stops misunderstanding.
I'M SO PISSED. Im 10 min into episode 26 and it doesn't explain the logic behind YXW disowning her family??? Everyone else assumes she killed her grandma and she's not aware of that somehow, while she thinks TTJ did it. WTFF
Something random but Word of Honor bc I heard it's good. I'm already on episode 10 since starting it yesterday…
Wow thank you for all this info! It's interesting that despite this and The Untamed being low budget, they became so popular. Honestly China should just embrace BL shows even if for all the money they can bring in...
I just looked up more details of the ZZH scandal. Pretty sad how quickly chinese and korean actors get cancelled. I was looking forward to LYX's Immortality, when I first saw him as TTJ in TTEOM I thought he would make a great male lead in a BL drama haha...
That reminds me, I actually knew of Gong Jun before bc I had watched his other BL drama "Advance Bravely". Happy to see that he was able to do another BL drama bc he has a very pretty face XD But is acting in WOH is amazing, he definitely got to show his skills there!

That's really interesting! I unfortunately didn't watch it while it was airing bc I didn't think the leads were very good looking at first glance, but boy do I take my words back now...the relationship between the two is even more obvious than in The Untamed, with those glances, stares, and multiple talks about being soulmates I'm surprised it was able to get passed the censorship!
I'm watching on Netflix, is that that the version that includes all the edited extra bits?
I'm looking forward to more wuxia or xianxia BL chinese dramas, because they've been doing justice to them!
