What are you all watching now while waiting for the next episode? π
Something random but Word of Honor bc I heard it's good. I'm already on episode 10 since starting it yesterday π There's something about BL compared to straight romances that cdramas are able to do right despite the censorship laws. No stupid misunderstandings or one person becoming dumb once lovey dovey. Should last me awhile while waiting for new eps of TTEOM :D
Wasn't LSS gonna try to tell TTJ about her mission, but then the guards came? And ever since she just stopped thinking about telling him. I want to know what could've happened if she just told him
im going to be honest... i have begun to lose interest since the dynamic shifted between TTJ and LSS. like others…
Honestly, I don't get why LSS doesn't just love him with her whole heart. Wouldn't that prevent him from turning bad, and thus she won't have to kill him? Does she see that killing him is the only way?
I'm really enjoying the show, and don't understand all the criticism. The acting, chemistry and visuals are all…
I didn't understand all the criticisms for the first several eps of the drama, but now there are aspects that I actually have to criticize about. Before it was mostly about makeup, lighting, etc which are more superfluous problems compared to the current flaw which is the character writing.
Some people didn't like the dream arc because of the misunderstandings, which I gave a pass for since it was a dream and I took it to meant that the main characters shouldn't follow in the dreams' footsteps. However, the recent episodes feels like it's doing just that - TTJ and LSS keep going in circles with liking each other than hating each other because of misunderstandings and not talking things out. I liked LSS's character in the beginning, but these few episodes we hardly see what she's thinking about so it's hard to justify her actions. She's becoming more like the dream arc Sang Jiu who is nice to everyone like Xiao Lin and Binchang, at the expense of causing mistrust with TTJ again.
I still like LSS, but I want to see her fighting for her main mission again and not doing dumb stuff to make TTJ mistrust her again. Hope we'll get to see her being cool again.
Out of curiosity, where is everybody from? I'm from California! I don't really have any friends in real life who watch chinese drama so I'm glad there's a website like this where I can discuss episodes with y'all XD I myself didn't really watch much cdrams either except for The Untamed and this one, despite being Chinese-American
Not unnecessary if this life as Xiao Lin will determine if she ever has GYJW as her senior brother in the immortal…
I haven't read the novel, and none of this information was revealed in the drama which would help make YXW's actions make a LOT more sense. Right now it feels like she's helping Xiao Lin out "kindness" bc she doesn't want him to die, etc when she hardly interacted with him before. Now TTJ is going to misunderstand again and think she's poisoning him or in love with Xiao Lin smh...
At this point I wouldn't mind it if TTJ turned into the demon god because of all the betrayal from the one he loves...their relationship is a train wreck right now TToTT
I said it before but I'll say it again..ok I get making TTJ softer for the audience, but why tf do they have to…
Right?? Today's episode frustrates me bc it feels like the same thing is happening as to what she did in the camp with Xiao Lin. Feels like we're back to square one.
I'm pretty disappointed by this episode. YXW scheming to help Xiao Lin which only gives TTJ more reason to be suspicious with her. And her being stupidly nice to Bitchang ugh... she's acting more and more like Sang Jiu these recent eps. If I was TTJ, I'd never trust her again tbh. I've been liking them together as a couple this entire time, but now I'm not so sure...time and time again she's broken his trust. I understand if it's doing something related to her main mission, but helping Xiao Lin seems like an unnecessary side quest. How is she going to get the nails back again?
I'm glad that finally someone (Xiao Lin) realizes that YXW isn't the same person. Doesn't anyone else question why her personality changed so much? The grandma, the maids, TTJ, Bitchang seem to just think she's the same person but nicer or what?
And I don't get why the grandma is being nice to Bitchang now because wasn't she pretty mean to her in the beginning of the drama?
