Something random but Word of Honor bc I heard it's good. I'm already on episode 10 since starting it yesterday…
Wow thank you for all this info! It's interesting that despite this and The Untamed being low budget, they became so popular. Honestly China should just embrace BL shows even if for all the money they can bring in...
I just looked up more details of the ZZH scandal. Pretty sad how quickly chinese and korean actors get cancelled. I was looking forward to LYX's Immortality, when I first saw him as TTJ in TTEOM I thought he would make a great male lead in a BL drama haha...
That reminds me, I actually knew of Gong Jun before bc I had watched his other BL drama "Advance Bravely". Happy to see that he was able to do another BL drama bc he has a very pretty face XD But is acting in WOH is amazing, he definitely got to show his skills there!

That's really interesting! I unfortunately didn't watch it while it was airing bc I didn't think the leads were very good looking at first glance, but boy do I take my words back now...the relationship between the two is even more obvious than in The Untamed, with those glances, stares, and multiple talks about being soulmates I'm surprised it was able to get passed the censorship!
I'm watching on Netflix, is that that the version that includes all the edited extra bits?
I'm looking forward to more wuxia or xianxia BL chinese dramas, because they've been doing justice to them!
What are you all watching now while waiting for the next episode? 😅
Something random but Word of Honor bc I heard it's good. I'm already on episode 10 since starting it yesterday 😅 There's something about BL compared to straight romances that cdramas are able to do right despite the censorship laws. No stupid misunderstandings or one person becoming dumb once lovey dovey. Should last me awhile while waiting for new eps of TTEOM :D
Wasn't LSS gonna try to tell TTJ about her mission, but then the guards came? And ever since she just stopped thinking about telling him. I want to know what could've happened if she just told him
im going to be honest... i have begun to lose interest since the dynamic shifted between TTJ and LSS. like others…
Honestly, I don't get why LSS doesn't just love him with her whole heart. Wouldn't that prevent him from turning bad, and thus she won't have to kill him? Does she see that killing him is the only way?
I'm really enjoying the show, and don't understand all the criticism. The acting, chemistry and visuals are all…
I didn't understand all the criticisms for the first several eps of the drama, but now there are aspects that I actually have to criticize about. Before it was mostly about makeup, lighting, etc which are more superfluous problems compared to the current flaw which is the character writing.
Some people didn't like the dream arc because of the misunderstandings, which I gave a pass for since it was a dream and I took it to meant that the main characters shouldn't follow in the dreams' footsteps. However, the recent episodes feels like it's doing just that - TTJ and LSS keep going in circles with liking each other than hating each other because of misunderstandings and not talking things out. I liked LSS's character in the beginning, but these few episodes we hardly see what she's thinking about so it's hard to justify her actions. She's becoming more like the dream arc Sang Jiu who is nice to everyone like Xiao Lin and Binchang, at the expense of causing mistrust with TTJ again.
I still like LSS, but I want to see her fighting for her main mission again and not doing dumb stuff to make TTJ mistrust her again. Hope we'll get to see her being cool again.
Out of curiosity, where is everybody from? I'm from California! I don't really have any friends in real life who watch chinese drama so I'm glad there's a website like this where I can discuss episodes with y'all XD I myself didn't really watch much cdrams either except for The Untamed and this one, despite being Chinese-American
