I tried to give it a chance because people are raving about it. And yeah, I'm not watching anymore which is what I said, lol. Is my comment meaningless just because I voiced my thoughts about a character? If you like the cutesy, ditzy naive type of female character, good for you I guess.

I mean, doesn't everyone have shows where they watch one episode and they don't want to watch anymore? If I can't stand the main lead who's going to appear in almost every minute of the show why would I want to continue? I watched through to the second ep and she was still irritating, so I'm not going to waste my time.

Yeah, I almost forgot too lol. I forget, Bincheng is the daughter of a concubine right? So same father as YXW and Qingyu but different mother? You never see the dad speaking up for her, which is kind of sad. Maybe if he showed some fatherly love she wouldn't have turned out this way

Yess! I highkey want to see the beginning evil demon lord battle the nice TTJ demon lord (himself), but idk if that will happen

He has a lot of similarities with Mads Mikkelsen, both were dancers before they became actors. And now they're both known for playing villain roles! Luo XinYi as TTJ and Mads as Hannibal hehehe

@Saffy88 It's interesting, I guess it could be said about real life people too. Some people because of bad upbringing, eg abusive parents, bullying etc end up being abusers themselves, while others with the same bad upringing end up being normal or kind people. Everyone is different, but in the end it's up to the individual's actions of what kind of person they want to be. TTJ and Bingcheng are interesting characters with similar backgrounds but different outcomes

@liarsh It was weird how the grandmother this episode wanted to see Bincheng too. Like umm didn't you ignore and scorn her her entire life?

I hope TTJ is setting it up so that no side would want Bingcheng - neither Sheng country nor him. That would be awesome, and I'd love to see Bingcheng have no one to lean on in the end.

Why did Qingyu have to block the knife for her though. I wanted to see her get stabbed with it, just like how she sacrificed her maid to get stabbed. She better have a far worse ending then.

Does anyone know if we'll see TTJ as the demon lord again, but nice? I really like his getup there XD

for me I'm on TTJ's side, since YXW immediately thought TTJ was in the wrong first. Idk why TTJ explained it that way though, if he said that he killed them for ruining his mom's skeleton instead of "I cut my nany into a hundred pieces" then she would have understood. But miscommunication is a common trope here for them to fight and then get back together XD

Ok episode 22 is one of my fave now! I love how TTJ didn't fall for Bingcheng's tricks and how he rolls his eyes everytime she says something XDDD I had to yell at the screen for her to get her filthy hands off him. I like that TTJ was like "you were evil in the dream and I wonder if you're the same irl" ohoho

Him and YXW conciling was so sweet! At this point it seems that YXW has fallen for TTJ, no?

I'm kinda salty that Pian Ran and Ye Qingyu got a kiss before TTJ and YXW did

Yeah, I'm just frustrated by the back and forth between liking and hating him even though it makes sense with the beginning episodes. I'm saving episode 22 for later in the day so I don't have to wait as long for 23, but it sounds like their misunderstanding will be resolved. Though I wonder how she'll get all 9 nails anytime soon

I wonder if TTJ is keeping Bingcheng close because he suspects she's plotting something and not because he is craving YXW's attention. I can only hope

Ok finished 21 and I have some thoughts...I was ok with YXW fighting with TTJ before, but now it's getting quite repetitive. Get mad at him when he does something wrong like kill somebody, then be nice to him again in order to complete her mission. I like YXW but I don't like how she's jumping to conclusions so often. LIke when he killed the emperor and the girl (I forgot her name)who brought him up, they were the ones who took his mother's skeletons first and stabbed him, so of course he had to retaliate. Besides, it's war so of course there will be killing and scheming involved. YXW doesn't ask first and always assumes he's in the wrong.

Btw, why did YXW go to Xiao Lin's place? Was it to figure out if TTJ was ok? It wasn't to sabotage TTJ right

Oh yeah I know, but I don't recall the nail thing ever being explained in the drama unless I missed it?
