Okay after two days of analyzing what the hell happened in the latest episode here is my rant.
Why writers why??!!! You have such an nice cast ensemble, interesting premise but somehow it turned into a giant mess. I wanted to give this drama a chance, I tried to hopeful to see that there was a message the writer was trying to convey but nope! I was so excited that we may see some character development but Nope!! Nothing. The writers have decided to remove all the character development. Just everyone and their grandma just spending every moment thinking about Tonhon. "How do we make tonhon comfortable?", "We cant stop being friends with tonhon", "Lets make this plan so tonhon does this"
Why??? Did Tonhon create the universe I need to know to regain some sanity.
We are in ep 8 out of 10????
At this point I am watching the show to see how far the writers go to salvage this mess. Its kinda like that moment where you have second hand embarrassment but cant look away.

Ton is so brainwashed by his dad that he just parroted his ignorant and homophobia without a second thought. This is why you go to college kids, to learn about the real world. Now he realizes that he has hurt people with that mindset. He might be gay/bi, his friends are gay, his BIL might also be gay. Also I love the SOTUS cameo because that show helped kickstart a lot of university based bls and also loved Ton's reaction to it :) I kinda see why his friends care for his friendship because even as a dumbass he seems to care for his friends a lot. I wish the writers did a better job showcasing this earlier on. As for Chon, I am glad his mom called him out for kissing without consent. However my heart breaks for him. I dont blame him for running away especially since hearing all the homophobic shit that ton has said.
Also I will not be in support of using Na as a tool to make ton jealous :( Hyped for the next episode :D
