HAHA! yesss. Wasn't going to mention the cliff. Just when I thought the scene was over: BAM! They had to prove that they can't go even an episode without a scene in which the viewer is compelled to facepalm themselves. Gosh what are girls to learn from a scene in which the heartbroken female attempts suicide by rolling down a hill (I wonder how she even picked up speed, the incline wasn't that steep). And then she bathes in the attention she gets from getting hurt... A shame the writers have a tendency for these type of life lessons...

:D It's so rare too find someone who thinks like that. I totally argee with you. Though admittedly the problem resolution and retarding moment in ep 11 were handled quite well for a tdrama. That could have gone much worse...

I know you can find anything on the internet these days... but does that mean we bypass thinking? Shouldn't she know how to wash a child? I don't know why the scripts of T romcoms are so ridiculous lately...

The actor's deserve a hats off, and the end was well done, but most of the middle was kind of incoherent.

He is my favourite actor actually. Thanks for making a Stalker Guide about him. You should have mentioned 'Capital Scandal', though. I really liked him in that one. But Rough cut, was showing a different side of him, (he can be so serious!)

I pity Aaron Yan... poor guy always has to play with a fem character that has the brains and behaviour of a five-year old. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the actress. I had my hopes up for for the first 6 eps, since Le Si she seem more mature than Ms Puff's last character... but really now. Take a hint, girl! Crying is fine after a disappointment in love, but this? Who writes these characters?

This is quite ok. However, whoever wrote the character of detective serizawa, was really up to no good. Who can take that kid seriously, when he beaves like a spoilt child, and always goes everywhere running?? Really, he never walks, he only ever stands still or runs. I love Toma, he is a really good actor and he got everything out of that role (I really think the stage directions is what ruined the character).
He never does any detecting anyway. I can see that it probably said 'he's impulsive' in the description but honestly, the character annoys the crap out of me.
Besides that, I love the series!

Totally agree with your list. Ikuta Toma will forver be my favourite second male lead.

This will be my first historical jdrama. Just finished ep one... and it is really well done. It also has a different directing&filming style than most jdramas. However, story writing is still a bit... well... rushed? obvious? hm... can't put my finger on it right now. But still, it is a very good watch so far.

My thoughts exactly. I am glad this only has 4 more episodes :) Not because I don't like it but because, it is immensely intense with all these long emotional shots. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an end that is worthy of this fantasic show!

Well damn. Had to stop the drama after El T's death because I couldn't bear where the drama was going. Love that everybody says they stuck to the real story though. Even though some idealising would have been nice. haha. jk. Anyway, just read the spoilers and I am not sad that that I dind't actually complete it. It still deserves a 10 for script, actors, scenics, filming etc. Well, that Wang yoo would have to die was inevitable, though sad. I think I liked the emperor nontheless. I think his character was pitiful, because all he did was struggle, without happiness. Makes me sad.
But why Tal Tal? T_T

hm...looks like another overly long production that could have been fast-paced had the directors not decided to drag every scene. Has the same feel as 'just you', only the fem lead is less annoying in this.
Seems like a quick and light view, but I remain sceptical of story development, which is a weakness in t dramas

agreed. There is a lot wrong with the beahviour of the characters. If that were my staff... But truth be told, atm all of the characters are annoying. Contemplating to drop it...

I want to rate this high, really really want to, but can't. Lee hong Ki deserved a main role, but whatever devil possessed the script writers to take a perfectly good story and turn it into mixed pickles?

Osaka was a tough character to shake off. Everytime I watched I hear your voice I expected the clumsy lawer to whip out that hilarious leopard print dressing gown... >_> man, such a distracting thing.
