I usually never comment on pilots but this was damn good! Seriously, this sole episode is better than most soppy recent releases. I got desperate-need-of-daddy realness; dude might as well beg for it. Smells passion, looks mature, sounds complicated, tastes sweet, feels real. I'm in
So what wrong with the rule? They set up the rule after what happened with Yak last year, that make sense.
Because they make it seem as though there is a huge blockage in their relationship. The attitude resembles the one you'd see when one is forced to go abroad and the situation becomes super difficult. That's clearly not the case. It's an arbitrary silly school club rule. The display of emotions I witnessed seems excessive and not relevant to the situation is all.
I don't think the plot is bad. This series supposed to be on the lighter side and it's just the half of the show…
Well shit, yeah! Imagine Tinn confronting his mother to keep the club and as a result of a fight between them, Tinn would leave and find shelter under Gun's roof, some more room to get closer. You got me excited rn grrrrrrrrrrr! But I don't know yet as the relationship between Tinn and his mum is still quite unclear as it is

Bruh no spoil me I'll get mad >:( haha I used to try and collect all the data but from now on, I keep myself in the dark to have as much element of surprise as possible. PTSD due to My Only 12% and the iQIYI synopsis literally spoiling the whole show
are we watching the same show? there has been an obstacle every single episode? I don't think this show is for…
Agreed, and hopefully things are going this way otherwise I'll get impatient and bored in all honesty. I realise my comment wasn't clear enough. Sorry about that.
I've been watching TV shows since forever actually and am a critic at heart so I can come off as intransigent sometimes haha
It's just that sometimes I can see how things could have been done differently ever so slightly for the better :p

Regardless, a secondary couple is starting to emerge in the club, so my guess is the rule is going to be blown eventually and something else is going to happen for further development.

Absolutely. Character internalisation (mostly on Tinn's part) and development are essential things I'm looking for in a romance. More specifically, the doubting and hesitating between refraining yourself or giving in to the burning passion and desire. I'd have hoped for more of this internalisation on Gun's part though because I can barely see through him. There is a lot of ambiguity still but I like it. Let it grow.
Something I liked about this episode on the other hand is Gun's reaction seeing the other boys playing couples for the MV. His face was screaming gay panic haha

I understand and apologise for it. No disrespect towards the crew. I would never disrespect anyone, but I would certainly pinpoint the flaws or things I don't like that they make.
I didn't mind the no dating rule as well at the beginning. It was mostly during the second part of episode 6 that it bothered me the most. The discomfort of seeing the boys looking at each other eyes teared, like something impossible to bypass prevented them from being together, felt ridiculous to me.

I don't see you as offensive whatsoever. You take the time to reply and kindly so. I need to thank you for that. Most people just want to throw shade at negative comments in here. My wording is sometimes too strong to properly convey my POV I must say.

Thanks. I hadn't watch the preview. I never do to keep me in the dark. But that's fine.
Tinn's mum is neither fond of nor not fond of the club. She's the head of the school and she needs to manage it. Actually, I think it'd be a great plot twist to have her reconsider her decision to keep the club, she would cancel the competition or something and that would totally rekt things and add another interesting segment to the plot, something like Tinn rallying Gun's club against his mother so as for the folks to perform in the competition.

Again, it's not a question of whether this show is "for me" or not. It's too easy. That would mean we can't criticise anything, just because?
Don't mistake me. I like the show and I agree with everything you said other than what I criticised . The show is pleasant to watch, the boys are cute and genuine. They give me teenager booming realness alright. I like that it's not over romanticised as it keeps it real. There is funny stuff too in there.
Here, your lot of positive reviewing.
I'm patiently waiting all week every week to watch the next episode. Do you think I would keep doing that if I didn't like the show? No.
My comment was specifically targeted at this stupid rule I don't see as a real obstacle. That's why I said there wasn't a clear obstacle that would jeopardise the forming relationship between the leads.
So what wrong with the rule? They set up the rule after what happened with Yak last year, that make sense.
It was at the beginning but it's starting to become silly at this point. The club wouldn't even exist anymore if it weren't for Tinn being his mother's son.
wow chill, it's just a cute show and it's not supposed to be more than that, they don't want to have a big drama…
As they should, fellow. It's a romance after all. But that doesn't mean it's perfect. I mean, I think it could've been a little bit better at this point. It was cute at the beginning and was relevant as it was for this reason that Tinn became the school president and interfered with the club, but this has come to a point where it makes them both miserable, and such a situation seems very unlikely in reality. It's far-fetched.

I've watched more than 50 BL so far. Like I said, I didn't say I didn't like the show overall, I just said that the club rule plotline was shit. Which is what I think. Does it mean I don't like the show? No. The reason I said that is specifically because I appreciate and enjoy the show. It's basic and quintessential High School Thai drama. No need to be over the top to have a proper plotline, mate.
Why do you make me say things I didn't? It's almost as though as long as someone has something to say about something then they don't like it whatsoever or even shouldn't comment on it. What is that? I mean, isn't this supposed to be a platform where people share their opinions.
My words may seem harsh to you, but they are not that much actually. My using such wording is because it's frustrating to see two people crushing on each other but not diving into it for a problem that isn't one to me. That's all.
But that's the thing with some soppy BL fans. As long as you don't go their way, then you should just get out and don't write, or I even read someone say that negative reviewers were trolls. What the hell?
Did you really start from the first episode? In every episode, there is an obstacle for the club members to overcome,…
I did watch every episode. And I certainly did not trash talk the actors for their acting if not the opposite. Trust me, if the acting was a problem, I don't think you'd find me here

I watched every episode as soon as they aired. I didn't say that I don't like the show, nor did I say that the plot was oversimplified. It just doesn't make sense. What kind of High School music band would have such a rule? Even so, fucking break it, no? What would be the consequences? This is the kind of obstacles I think could have been more real than that. As for Tinn's mother, we didn't even see her for quite some time now, and if she were to be an obstacle then that would mean something would have to happen between Tinn and Gun, then fine, why not. Even though it would lack originality, it would at least make more sense than the seemingly unbreakable vow.

Can't wait to see how this turns out!
