Just like you, I was surpised (not pleased) that they used a ballad song instead of their usual music
scoring. It's a pivotal moment, the song was overwhelming compared to the brief gentleness of their characters at that scene. But, overall, the series is amazing.

I guess we both got spoiled with the orchestral, atmospheric music on the most duration of the series ????

I'm not a fan of deus ex machina trope, but I'll give Kang Doo a pass this time. The guy has been through a lot. He deserves such miracle.

Most of the commenters say that the only problem it has is the time slot and this gem is what the prime time slot needs is somehow making me go soft. T-T

I really love that part where Kang Doo and Moon Soo were at the playground and everything went quiet when she helped him with the swing. That silence speaks so much emotions.

Right?! Joo Won has an interesting motive. And it will be a waste for the build-up of his character to be the textbook second lead.

As much as I love second leads like the next romantic here, please, k-drama gods, a second lead complication will be completely unnecessary.

I am seriously hoping this won't last long. Please, writer-nim, don't play the second lead trump card on this drama. It's amazing as it is now.

Me on the other hand is not a big fan of melodramas. But, this caught my attention. It's interesting and the characters, I find none of them annoying at this point. Also, I found out the screenwriter for this writer of this drama is the same as Secret, which coincidentally is one of the few melos I enjoyed.

As I was starting watching dramas, I can't or more of won't drop a drama no matter how derailed the story went (I'm looking at you Prime Minister and I.) It's like a newcomer's moral obligation.

But now, I will drop a drama in a heartbeat if I find it uninteresting, dull, or simply plain annoying. Why will I bother spend my time begrudgingly finishing a series that I don't like if I can invest on other dramas out there, right?

In the end of the day, similar to our music tastes, we prefer different flavors. Find what suits you. It's not their time I am spending. We should be having fun watching in the first place.

I like how serious and melancholic the trailer is. It deviates from the silliness the original material has.

Crying Ma Song Goo is the "I wanted to give the guy a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate then lull him to sleep " kind of cute. He's too squishy.
