Hmm I can sense where you come from. But when I decided to watch it, I made sure I do it with tissues handy. Just means maybe your expectations were different and if you don't feel the vibe right now it's good if you quit now because the last few episodes will be harder to watch.
btw I am immersed in this one. Knew what I was going into.

Yes , I also prefer traditional 16 episode endings. But if you see the figures , Netflix achieved big success ever since it launched in korea. It has changed the way entertainment is consumed in korea. Not only that, the platform gave kdramas a big chance for marketting and advertising. I mean , I have been on mydramalist for 5 years and interest in kdramas is at its peak. And some stories do require large production which cannot be limited to a single season and Netflix has provided it. take an example, " Arthdal Chronicles" would not be possible the traditional way.

It is more of a slice of life drama so this will be the pace for the whole drama I think. Ambiance, script, and acting are the drama's forte. I hope you enjoy the ride.
