It's been some time that I watched a refreshing rom-com. I missed those summer and fall vibes. Even with the choice of music, they are really going for those strings that tickle your stomach. Let's set aside the plot(which seems like my go-to type)s, just the two actors and characters have sizzling chemistry. I guess 2021 will end well now..
OK .. he is innocent. I was having doubts till the last 5 minutes of this episode, but now I am pretty sure. If it really turns out otherwise, Kim Hyun Soo is a bloody psychopath and Kim Soo Hyun is a satan-gifted actor. I still can't figure out the story behind that detective though.. such a grey character.
Personally, I prefer an ending without happiness if it brings season 2. (I mean it's that good right..) But one thing I noticed was the drama was never about an apocalypse. Apart from the first couple of episodes where they needed to set the premise for the plot, the whole drama seems like it was meant to be completed in that apartment itself. It was more about the characters and their characters. the script has definitely achieved that purpose. So most likely It will end even though I don't want it to.
Suppose after beating all the odds throughout 8 episodes, miraculously they prove Kim Hyun Soo innocent all the while Lawyer himself grows suspicious about Hyun soo as the end comes near. and they end the series with him getting an innocent verdict when the Lawyer finally realizes he was the killer the whole time. And the show ends with Kim Soo Hyun's that infamous devilish laugh. If they give it this ending I am rating this drama 10 /10 no matter what.
