Went in with no expectations, stayed up all night watching - but there's reservations.
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
As I read the plot looking for a new drama, this wasn't my priority, however, because I was looking for something to watch casually, I decided to start.
On episode 2 I was invested and hooked and I didn't sleep to keep watching it and finish it. So much for casual.
While the story got me hooked, the hate to love trope was strong but not well developed because there was so much focus on the past love/friendship. The reality show plot could've been much more well used too.
The ending was bland and it felt rushed, but I have this feeling with all the dramas I've been watching recently, so maybe it's a me-problem.
Still, this wasn't a waste of time. The acting is good, I was giggling and kicking up my feet, the story is really interesting, it just could've been more well developed.
I have no plans of rewatching this one.

NO SPOILERS REVIEW | So nice to watch casually, not absurdly fantastical.
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
I recommend this drama for people that are looking for something to watch casually and appreciate a little fantasy in their story. The romance is very sweet, not super cliche.
I'm not a fan of fantasy dramas, but I decided to give this one a try and I was very pleasantly surprised.
It didn't make me obsessed, like some dramas make - so much so that I don't sleep (which doesn't mean they're great, just that they have ending with good hooks) - and I really liked that aspect of it.
The fact that I wasn't anxious to watch it all at once is really nice, I was able to enjoy the story thoroughly.
I was in love with ALL OF THE CHARACTERS. Every last one of them were really lovely, interesting, well constructed with great acting.
There's some plot holes, not huge ones and the ending did not feel rushed as it usually feels with kdramas (where they try to give a happy ending very quickly in the last minute).
The ending felt like a natural progression of the story, as expected, making this drama a very pleasant experience.

MAYBE LIGHT SPOILERS BELOW? | Loveable characters individually and that's it.
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
This is the first time I'm not really recommending a drama - unless you want to care more about the side stories/couples.
Don't get me wrong: individually, all the characters are well constructed, with a lot of funny moments, however, I did not feel the chemistry between the leads. Actually, the leads are in their 30's acting like teenagers, which was off putting for me, personally.
Also, the main plot was hit with a lot of "obstacles" for little to no purpose, making the story convoluted in a bad way.
The friend plot, while a necessary conversation to be had in the entertainment industry, had no resolution and the lady side plot... what? Why? Did it add to story in any way?
However, I was very interested in the other characters romances and they were what kept me going. Specially the reporter friend, really loveable.
I did appreciate to see a strong female lead that didn't need a man to solve a traumatic past or whatever.
Finally, for me, this drama will always be called "Shitting Stars" because why on earth would you put asterisks on it if it wasn't a curse word? Come on!

NO SPOILERS REVIEW | Cute, but the plot holes made it difficult to enjoy.
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
I recommend this drama if you're looking for some fantasy to pass the time but doesn't care about plot holes.
I'm not a fan of fantastical stories, but enemies to lovers is my favorite trope, so I went for it.
The trope was well developed and the acting is really good. The side characters and their stories weren't my favorite, but my issues lie somewhere else.
I don't have answers for so many things that happened during the story, there was so much useless information added for whatever reason?
I see them as plot holes because they are indeed connected to the main story, and for me, it made it difficult to give a positive review for this title.
It feels like the first half of the drama was written by a group of people that didn't talk with the group of people that wrote the second half and when they realized that, they added some scenes to try to connect it and called it a day.
It wasn't a waste of time, of course, the MML is stunning and the FML is super sweet, so there's that.

NO SPOILERS REVIEW | Not enemies-to-lovers as people usually recommend, but great nevertheless.
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
I recommend this drama for someone that needs to cry but currently can't. Go ahead, bestie.
It was recommended to me as a title with my favorite trope, enemies to lovers, however, it is not.
It has great banter and bickering between the leads, but they're not enemies nor they highly dislike each other.
You'll understand it right in the first episode, so this is not a spoiler.
It is a slow burn with a great progression of the relationship.
This drama has so many funny moments and so many emotional moments, which will make you ugly cry. Get ready.
The ending felt very natural and not rushed, although I would have liked to see a bit more of what happens in the last minutes, maybe the grand event as well.
You'll see beautiful scenery, the OST is really nice although repetitive and the side characters are really interesting.
If you're thinking about watching it, just do it. I really don't think you'll regret it.

It wasn't a waste of time!
This is my opinion and it's absolutely okay if we don't agree. This is not a personal attack to anyone's preferences.
This is my first Chinese drama and I went in with no expectations, just looking for something with shorter episodes to watch more casually, which didn't happen because I finished in three days.
The story and the acting was amazing with one exception: the female lead, in my opinion, was weak. I found the actress to be very monotone and bland, a blank expression, deer in headlights 24/7. I was expecting a more fierce attitude, something along the lines of her first appearance.
The ending was a bit rushed and left me unsatisfied.
I won't be rewatching but it is worth to sit down for some giggles.
