Although I do miss some of the more interactions between VegasPete in the novel. The series trump's over it with VegasPete having more emotions.

You can see that both of them yearn for each other. Vegas more consoling especially at the back of the bar. He even let Pete beat him during the family conflict. Vegas just wants to make things right with him.

The character development in the book went to shit.

Pete says no constantly to sex and Vegas ignore it. Then when Pete wants to stop especially as the baby is crying Vegas doesn't even care.

He's jealous of the baby and even wished to throw food over the child.

I didnt like Kinn or Vegas much in the book in the beginning. The SA was disgusting and I was one of the people glad it was more or less removed from the show.

Although the show cut out some good parts of the book, I will take that over the direction of the novel.
