I have said it before, I love VegasPete story both in the novel and the series but I like their relationship in…
You made some extremely good points.
Although I do miss some of the more interactions between VegasPete in the novel. The series trump's over it with VegasPete having more emotions.
You can see that both of them yearn for each other. Vegas more consoling especially at the back of the bar. He even let Pete beat him during the family conflict. Vegas just wants to make things right with him.
Here...but you have been warned! Its awful. https://www.tunwalai.com/chapter/7848259/ep1-i-dont-become-the-satan
You're welcome.
The relationshas gone to trash. I would've been happy for Pete to leave with Venice. If this is the direction the writers wanna do, then leave Pete out of it.
How can they change Vegas so much?! Absolute arse in the new book.
Honestly, they really did Vegas dirty in the new book.Trash.
No consistency at all.
VegasPete gained so many fans especially after Vegas changed his ways.
Its like Daemi has a vendetta against VegasPete in the novel. This book was in preproduction for how long and no thought into making it better?
They are actually obsessed with SA, even in a formed relationship. Dont get me started on Pete being shot and left by Vegas. The dislike he has for Venice is extreme. Jealousy over a kid and wanting to ignore him? Blasphemy.
That Daemi book didn't age well lmfao 💀and y'all were ignoring how problematic they were just for this ? Well…
The book was always problematic.
I didnt like Kinn or Vegas much in the book in the beginning. The SA was disgusting and I was one of the people glad it was more or less removed from the show.
Although the show cut out some good parts of the book, I will take that over the direction of the novel.

BOC have sense and wont mimic this monstrosity.

Trash.
How can they change a character so badly?!
Daemi would probably make KimChay first time as r@pe.
Does he forget that writing for the series was alternated from the book...chatting for the sake of chatting
Absolutely disgusting.
Its like they want Vegas to be a full on monster that will never change. Vegas, who loves Pete now would never do this.
They deserved more screentime. I believe BOC has taken note of the audience's reaction and will do better in season 2.
Pete says no constantly to sex and Vegas ignore it. Then when Pete wants to stop especially as the baby is crying Vegas doesn't even care.
He's jealous of the baby and even wished to throw food over the child.
The authors cab write whatever they want but I am not reading it no more.

Agree, I hope series Vegas stays as he is. I liked him in the show. He was nice in the novel when he fell for Pete too.
I hope we get a season 2 early next year.
No wonder BOC changed so much in season 1. First book was messy in ways but this one? Not it!
