This is the 1st adaptation I’ve seen where they stay so close to the book even down to the lines, the best parts are coming, so much angst with so much joy and sweetness for this couple!! ❤️

Yup I agree, I just finished the book and so far all the scenes in the series have happened in the book and if they continue to follow the story we have a high chance of a happy ending for this couple. ❤️

Loved how obvious he was who he wanted to protect, and he ordered that lion to be brought over so SL could play with it and not get bored in the heaven realm, dude is so thoughtful to his lady love!! ❤️

I love everything about his character. As we can see, along with SL into his past, XZ is naturally a carefree and aloof personality, but to be shackled by the responsibilities of protecting and sustaining the 3 realms must be quite daunting for him. Therefore, that’s why he can’t help himself but to joke around with her or to relax in front of her, despite knowing the fact that he’s shouldering the entire universe. And this is why I love his personality/character, because he’s real and vulnerable deep down even as a powerful ancient god on the outside. 💙
This is what I love about ZLY, she chooses really strong female characters, she doesn’t want to be a damsel…
Yah the PA ending was crap, producers ruined it, if they stuck to the book it would have had a happy ending, but LGX and ZLY were great in PA, due to their chemistry, which is why Legend of ShenLi is such a redemption for many of us who got burned by the terrible PA ending. If you do decide to watch PA I would say stop before the last episode lol. 😍
