It makes me surprisingly melancholy thinking that maybe someday there won't be censorships and restrictions, but I won't be here in the world to see that day most probably. Also the fact that I love TGCF this much, but can't get to see Hualian live action in this life. Cause apparently it's so wrong to love the same gender. I think I will just watch untamed 500 more times and get sadder *sigh* Even watching that is a torture, cause everytime I see them trying to convey the groundbreaking love of Wangxian without actually saying anything openly (cause they are not permitted), it makes me cry thinking how unfair it is.
Hot take sue me but I'd rather date someone like Jeonghan than Iljo. I interpret them as both having commitment…
Same lol. I'm a bit disappointed in his character, but I think it has a lot to do with the short duration of the show too. It could easily be a 12 episode full series, making it so compact took away all the opportunities for character and plot development. The manhwa too has very rushed ending. Now the show also feels too rushed.
The f**king puritans in the comment section are really getting on my nerves atp. Firstly - has no one ever taught you guys how to read? Read the friggin' synopsis beforehand, instead of watching a show randomly and talking judgmental nonsense in the comments. Secondly - (though if you actually can’t read ig this tip is useless🥱) go read the manhwa to calm your butthurt-over-a-fiction self down and realise that the leads aren't related at all.
And, just to clear this - if it was a story regarding even stepbrothers or sh*t and some people enjoyed it, it still doesn’t give you the right to be like 'oh how can people watch this! Oh you're so nasty and I'm so pure!' Get a grip and learn to differentiate fiction from reality. Many shows and worldwide famous films have dedicated fanbase for the main villain character cause the acting was that good, or just because his character was impressive. Doesn't mean they'll support a criminal in real life. There are many BLs with cheating trope, where one ML is cheating on gf or smth. Those have thousands of fans too. Doesn't mean they're looking to cheat or for cheaters irl themselves. They just treat it as fiction and get fun from a story. What people like to see on-screen and like in real life might be very different. Shows are fiction, fictions are targeted for broadminded or imaginative people. Not conceited weirdass public.
this is the cutest drama <3 also this is the first time I saw ML being the stupidest and simultaneously the sweetest green flag lol. such serotonin boost, I'll keep coming back
I really don't get the hate on Do Ba Woo in the comments. Lol, like anyone would be in a better state of mind if they were tired from years of one sided love. I think it was an excellent portrayal of how frustrating and hurtful it can be. Also, I don’t know why I keep seeing Yeonjun's face in Do Ba Woo haha. And if I close my eyes it sounds like Yeonjun is speaking. I've never seen someone look and sound like Yeonjun. He is adorable. And I like his chemistry with Ji Hun best, it won’t even compare to Ha Min. Ha Min on his own is cute, but those two go way way back and they're just on another level.
