I seriously donât understand what these people eat before writing such scripts. They gave us such a beautiful child in the drama. A handsome uncle. A cute aunt. But the script? Absolute nonsense.
Do they still think weâre stuck in 2017? I mean, this kind of irritating love triangleâIâve seen it only in old dramas. Like, the second lead will keep openly flirting with the female lead, and while dancing to that flirting, the second lead will fall madly in love with her. Honestly, this plot is ancient.I havenât seen such a trashy female lead character and second lead in recent dramas. The last time I maybe saw something like this was in Cheer Up. Even there, the male lead was the same type. I really donât understand why he keeps choosing these kinds of male lead charactersâhe deserves so much better. And I donât understand this actressâs script choices either. In every single drama of hers, besides the male lead, there are like five guys around her who are all crazy about her. And she takes her time âexploringâ everyone, then finally comes back and accepts the male lead. Only in The Witch was her character somewhat tolerable. No hate toward the actress, but her characters are so irritating that theyâre unbearable. The male lead confessed by episode 5. And sheâs still dragging things till episode 8. On top of that, the second lead has more screen time with the female lead than the main couple does.
This drama should have been about Uju, her uncle, and auntâtheir small familyâlike how they handle and raise her. Then Taehyungâs character development. Love triangles exist in every drama, so having one here wouldnât have been a problem, but theyâre stretching it in such an annoying way.In most dramas, the female lead goes on 2â3 dates with the male lead to figure out whether she really likes him or not. But here itâs completely reversedâtheyâre going on dates to figure out whether she likes the second lead or not.Even hearing her say âsunbae, sunbaeâ makes me angry. She cries on Taehyungâs chest at night, then wakes up in the morning and goes on a date with her sunbae đTaehyung should take Uju and leave that house. And just marry off Hyejin and her sunbae already.
I saw a post where someone said that when Uju and her uncle grow up, theyâll all fall in love together like Spring Feverâuncle and nephew side by side. Honestly, thatâs what they should do. Iâd actually be happy with an ending like that.
I know in the end the female lead will go back to the male lead. But I wish she doesnât get Taehyung easily. If he had to wait so long, she should have to wait too.
