I called the mistress being the killer! She really does loves her DIYs lol.
Overall an okay drama for me, I needed less of the evil uncle and his mistress, and more of WooJuMeri and the SL couple, and more of SangHyeon in general!!!
I definitely agree on the lack of internal struggles. I still have my qualms with WooJu falling *too* quickly, we could have had something on him reconciling his dislike for Adult Meri with his love for his childhood crush Meri. Or even Meri having more hesitancy with entering a new relationship after how badly her last one ended and having scars from being cheated on.
In the past, when I commented on this, some commenters said it would be too heavy for a romcom (who says a romcom can't be emotional and deep? It just has to be handled properly and feed well in to the flow), but when we look at the heavy subplot we actually got, there isn't mush difference.
This show is unintentionally hilarious istg. What do you mean Jessica/Sylvia teleported to the hospital, got the…
I'm still stuck on the part where people who have the money to live in a nice house with huge double doors in the US, can't hire someone to do their dirty work at the hospital. I wonder if Jessica was the truck driver who killed WJ's parents since she loves DIYs.
Ex-Wooju has so much audacity that it's actually inspiring, who does he actually think he is? Even when thinking of Meri after getting dumped, he doesn't suddenly realize he loves her, he just wants someone to be devoted to him.
I honestly giggled at the hotel scene, if he was a better man, he would see the error of his ways and go apologise for the pain he put Meri through.
How is the child at fault for his parents’ death?! Just because he looked back while he was driving?! Well,…
This is exactly what I was thinking while watching! I know grief clouds judgement and only we know the uncle is behind it but like if the family blames kid WooJu, they should also partly blame his dad for NOT KEEPING HIS EYES ON THE ROAD as the adult in the situation. If anything neither of them should be blamed, shame on the aunt, grandfather and the whole family
Is it just me that feels everything is happening so fast, he already likes her but her feelings for him is kind…
I chalk it up to it being 12 episodes by episode 6 somebody is usually already in love and by episode 8 a confession has usually occured. But yes I agree about the childhood friend thing, they kind of used it as a cop out because other than the teddy bear thing we don't know why he likes her especially when we remember how he thought of her before he found out
I'm debating whether to carry on or not, all the plot points I called have already started to come into fruition and I truly hate the family politics sideplot storyline within Kdrama rich families, but the next episode looks so interesting and Somin and Wooshik are a HUGE plus for me. Anyway Secretary Man is so fine.
Gil-Gu my beloved boyfailureeeeeee! He was the heart of this movie for me, so sincere in everything he does while still being an unintentional goof. I love him and Ahn Bo Hyun did an amazing job as well as Yoon A! Double roles aren't easy but she pulled it off flawlessly. My only gripe not having more scenes with Seonji, maybe exploring her head and relationships, but I'm not sure how that would have worked anyway
The cast around them added to my enjoyment as well for Ara, Seonji's dad and Hee Bum to the convenience store staff and teenage girl. I had so much fun with this movie and still teared up at the end.
