I just finished watching this drama. I have to say that I agree with the second review above in the sense that the story started out really well and it sort of lost its drive halfway through to reach an ending which was quite predictable. The actors were all very good and I liked the OST very much as I thought it suited the story perfectly. I think the potential of this story could have been developed better but on the whole it was a pleasant watching for me and I evaluated it 8/10.
I just finished watching this drama and rated it very highly as I really enjoyed it. I haven't seen the korean version and don't intend to as for me this was the perfect moving story with great actors and a perfect ending.
I just finished watching this drama and I thought it was so and so. I couldn't find the two main actors and their love story particularly convincing as besides the age difference there was also a slight height difference which made it more unrealistic to my eyes. I hope I won't upset the Kame fans when I say that I would prefer him with a shorter hair cut which would make him seem more manly: he is indeed a good actor but I keep on thinking that he looks more like a girl to me. Sorry!
I agree that there was very little passion between the two main characters of this drama. Up until the end I was asking myself if they were really in love or what? The character of Naoko was very well acted, and also women's friendship very well represented. But besides these two positive elements, I really would not recommend watching it if one is looking for real romance.
I have only watched up to the second episode (finally subbed in English) of this drama and I can already say that it is great and it will be wonderful to watch it all. It will be incredible to have Tamaki Hiroshi, Fujiki Naohito and Shoda Matsuda in the same drama, not to mention all the other very, very good actors. This will be fun!
this is a very particular drama which I realised moved me intensively after I finished watching it. Initially the 'manga' acted parts bothered me a little, but as I got into the story I didn't mind them any more because the acting and the story was so involving. There is no doubt that this drama will sparkle interest for classical music to anyone who watches it and by the end of the story one falls for the two main characters. Obviously all the follow ups of this drama are a must to watch. Tamaki Hiroshi is really, really good here.
I enjoyed this drama very much indeed. Personally I felt that it wasn't a totally forbidden love as I understood that he had been adopted so there was no blood relationship between the two. In any case I thought the ending was believable and it didn't disappoint me.
