Poor Jung. He doesn't know what his problem is, because his dad never sat down with him and had a proper conversation…
Nicely put! That's likely one of the reasons why he and Seol are compatible. They're much alike (like both of them being responsible and hardworking), yet they're also different (like what you had pointed out). Good analysis! :)
- I loved the Baek siblings' interactions in this episode. In Ha teasing In Ho about Seol was so adorable. Then In Ho putting a blanket over In Ha (although he put it over her head as well, haha) as well as removing her eyeglasses - the gesture was so sweet of him
- In Ho is totally in denial about his feelings for Seol! Using 'getting a cold' as an excuse for flushing, then making sure that his heart was not beating wildly. Oh boy, you're screwed. It was also sweet of him to buy pepper spray and other products for Seol's protection against Young Gon. Ah, this boy is so endearing. Yes Seol, open your eyes and look at him! (The preview broke my heart when In Ho saw Seol and Jung hugged).
- In Ha and Young Gon's exchange of messages and pictures was hilarious. As more episodes pass, I find In Ha more adorable (although she's still annoying, lol). I also loved the fact the she came to Jae Woo's rescue.
- The conversation between Jung and his father intrigued me. It seemed like he felt suffocated by his father's expectations on him. Maybe, that was why on ep 9, he said to In Ho that he envied them because they're 'free'.
- My heart really breaks for In Ho because I think Seol's heart is only set on Jung. These past two episodes with minimal interactions between Seol and Jung can be a set-up on how the show is going to develop their relationship; that without seeing each other much and thinking things through on their relationship, their love can grow stronger. Although we also see In Ho and Seol getting a development, it seemed like In Ho's love is only one-sided and Seol only sees him as a friend. Sighs. With that said, the piano scene was really cute and I hope I get to see them playing a piano duet together (like in Nodame Cantabile. That would be really cute, huhu).
Okay, but that back hug by the end of ep 9. Swooooons. Does Jung have a fetish on Seol's neck? hahaha. I also understand Seol's confusion and frustration on Jung. (Well, aren't we all?) I loved her inner monologue when she questioned who Jung really is. Anyway, I'm eventually finding In Ha adorable and annoying at the same time. Young Goun is still annoying, but I find him adorable, too. Haha. Must be the actors playing them. They're all doing a good job portraying their roles.
I'm really curious on what happened between Jung and In Ho. They were such good friends in the past! I loved the clips that were shown in ep 9 about them. Plus, the scene wherein two with In Ha playing fireworks was so heartwarming. I hope they'd get to mend their friendship :(
I think the strength of this drama lies not with the plot, but with the character's characterizations and how…
Indeed. Big credits to the writer of the webtoon, without her, this drama wouldn't even be possible. Yes, thanks also to the production team and all of the staff, the drama came out wonderful. It's really up to par with the webtoon, in my opinion. But what I really adored is the performance of the three main leads (Seol, Jung, and In Ho). Although there were some subtle changes with their characterizations from the webtoon, I think the actors still did a good job portraying their respective characters.
Gaaaaah. I loved the scene wherein In Ho and Seol were playing piano together. They looked so cute and adorable!…
I was annoyed at her too. But somehow, I also pity her since it seemed like she just really wanted to be friends with Seol. Honestly, I think the one to blame is Young Gon for manipulating Min Soo. Ah, that jerk.
I think the strength of this drama lies not with the plot, but with the character's characterizations and how the characters relate with each other. At first look, one might think that the drama is simple, but the complexity of the characters makes it really interesting. I loved it.

@Jay Oh. Will they have more interactions later on? I still haven't catch up with the webtoon so I have no idea if there will be a romance build up for them later on.
Gaaaaah. I loved the scene wherein In Ho and Seol were playing piano together. They looked so cute and adorable! I'm officially on board with the second lead again. When will I be out of this curse? Jung is still shady af but his face was really distracting. Why does he have to look attractive? lol. Anyway, it looks like Min Soo likes Seol's brother?
Gahhhh I'm so torn between Jung and In Ho. With In Ho, I feel that Sul can express herself freely, and In Ho brings…
Hahaha. I'm indecisive af so I'm just going to watch the drama as it progresses and wait & see if my heart is going to get crushed again by the man whom Seol will choose (if she will choose between the two of them at all). I don't blame @TurkishRose for having the resolve to root for Jung though, the guy can really be charming when he likes! haha
