But: I think that even in ancient China, 'noble' ladies couldn't be killed just like that on the spot. At least some procedure would needed to make a judgment and an execution.

I think that she doesn't really care if she dies because of her straightforwardness....

But, she does care about the life of her family. She was very restrained and bowed to Cui Ming Yue when it was about saving her brother's life. So she can be 'reasonable', when she wants to.

She learned from her past life that not standing up for herself leads to tragedy. Weak and cowardly people are exploited and trampled upon..

In a palace full of scheming, how can she trust anybody?

I think if you don't feel it after 6 episodes, it might never become interesting for you.

But it's true that it gets better and better later on, as the story develops.

She burnt down that building (which is very easy with all those curtains, while the buildings of that time were made of paper, wood and bamboo).

Until now the balance of angst and happy moments is good, I hope that they will keep it well balanced till the end, and there will be a happy ending for Jiang Si and Yu Jin and the other good characters.

Ep 27 is the sweetest until now. :))) Ep 28-29 are not bad, ep 30 is a bit stressful regarding FL.

In ep 30, there is some angst, but it doesn't last, fortunately.

Following the logic of this show, Princess Royal will die either by the hands of Jiang Si, or somehow by her own evilness.

I'm glad Jiang Si pardoned the aunt. I think she'll help Jiang Si later.
