Ep 11 and I'm annoyed by the ML. This day is supposed to be the most important one where he can finally prevent…
I believe the reason he went was how he imagined the accident to be. During the day, when the kid crosses the street etc. Since Eun Yu said she stopped all that, he was relieved. Sometimes our minds play tricks. His might have been the same situation. Even the last time when the thugs attacked during rehearsal, he assumed he thwarted the attack. Same case. Also, he was worried for Eun Yu since she didn't get back to him after the phone call. It was night so.. he must have thought it was over and went to her to make sure she was alright too. Afterall, she had a history of wanting to die and time travelled too, right? For this reason, I feel his actions justify.
I like this drama a lot. It will be nice if we get season2 where the story will be about Eun Gyeol navigating…
This drama is perfect, except for this bit where he has no memory of the new future. I was really hoping that the makers would show a trailer of some sort on how Lee Chan conquered his disability, met Cheong Ah again and started a new life. I was hoping a scene where Eun Gyeol would wake up and see a dream of his new future so he knows how he changed everything and as a result what life he lead. Just this bit felt incomplete for me. Even if they dont make a new season, at least one short episode of new future would have been a perfect epilogue. Also, Eun Yu's story was incomplete. Did her parents divorce, did they have a nice marriage, was she still burdened by her mom's expectations.. etc were all left unanswered.
Then again, maybe I should just be thankful that they gave a happy ending because most dramas take a tragic route. Well, though I loved this series, this one thing will be a void that won't be fulfilled :(
Yes, he has his own story "first frost" (soon adapted to drama)https://kisskh.at/722171-first-frost
I have not seen any of his dramas apart from Hidden Love. But as Sang Yan he has done good job in Hidden Love. I don't know about his characterization in novel. It would be nice to have him in this sequel though. Let's hope this series would be just as great as Hidden Love!
Watched this twice already. I am obsessed. I have a doubt though. Does Sang Yan have a girlfriend? Like in novel or something? He gave many hints throughout the drama.. I am confused. It's like he has a secret gf đ Please someone tell me!
Absolutely! It's rare to find a perfectly executed drama with barely any loopholes. It has mystery to keep you hooked till the last episode and last scene. It has romance and really good chemistry between the leads. Amazing bond between friends, parents, siblings. Romance, Comedy, Mystery and Crime. everything is neatly wrapped, justified and every case that is used in the series, is well executed and ended. You won't be disappointed!
Sorry! He is not the ML so he doesn't get the girl. But when you watch the show, you will surely fall in love with him, and his character. Right from the start, it's pretty clear what his love story would look like. Though he may not get the girl, the bond he will share with the rest two leads is beautiful and unbreakable through the end. Do give it a shot!
Rewatched this drama again. It's 2023, and I have still not found a perfectly executed crime/romcom! It wraps up every case neatly, connects the dots of all the plot, keeps audience intrigued and has a total stellar cast! What more do you need? Perfection Personified! Rewatching now and there is not even a single scene that I skipped. This is why I love Kdramas! I hope they make such beautifully written, well crafted and interesting dramas again. I miss this period between 2012 - 2017 when really good dramas were produced :(
Any idea where I can watch this? the first time I watched the series was a few years back, maybe in 2016 or 2017. I tried watching it from some lame ass asian website but with absolute idiotic subs! even then few episodes were missing. I want to see the complete series, with good subs. Please let me know if good version and subs is available anywhere like Viki or myasiantv. Thanks!
The best! Nothing more to say. I didn't think anyone could actually make a drama without villains, unnecessary drama, and females who are out for vengeance. This one, has been a perfect watch from start to finish. So sweet and heartwarming, makes you smile throughout the series.
I just have one doubt. Did the specs girl (Sang Zhi's roommate) have a happy ending? I rewatched last few episodes and I didn't catch it. I remember her confessing her love though. If anyone could let me know on this would be helpful!

Yeah.. in the version that I watched some translations seemed weird. But either way, would have been helpful if the writer made it clear. But, if anyone knows to read Chinese, then all the mystery will be solved if they could read what's written on the ID cards. đ¤
Loved this!! đ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤ŠI need someone to explain the logic behind the ending though đ I have two interpretations.…
Interpretation 1: Based on last 5 mins, especially the scene where FL is have press conf on her book - The whole drama is a story written by FL using characters from people around her. Came to this conclusion because, when journalist asked if Xiao Wu Di existed in her life, she doesn't even flinch or show any painful emotions when she says it's fictional coz time travel doesn't exist in today's world and she didn't experience the tragedies the female character of novel did. And then her husband, ML shows up and together they give an ending comment about finding love. It kinda made it feel so.
Interpretation 2: When Xiao Wu di got his chance to live a proper life, and they break this news to FLs mother, he tells her that they already registered house. I don't know what Chinese laws for citizenship or registration is. But he definitely showed the ID card. Does that mean he fake registered his name? Or took Xiao Jun's identity? If anyone can read Chinese, then they can see it in those marriage and ID cards. would be helpful if you could shar what you saw! If that is the dead guy's identity that ML took, then the final few mins of series makes sense.
Again the plothole in interpretation 2 is, how did ML get Xiao Juns ID? did he fake it? didn't that Xiao guy die? So there must be q death certificate considering it was a death by lab explosion? Also, if he really took Xiao Jun's identity, why did mo one say anything? Everybody in FLs life knew ML as Xia Wudi. Also, during wedding also he was called as Xiao Wu Di.
Too many unresolved questions. But if you go with first interpretation it all makes sense :)
If anyone has better understanding of this, please tell me. If anyone can read Chinese, then please have a look at final episode where he shows ID cards to FLs mom. The names are displayed in that :) It would clear our doubts and I can use some peace of mind lol.

Happy Ending? Who ends up with whom at the end?

I have always been a curious cat, so can't help racking my brains for answers :)
