I believe it's because of the e-sports controversy. I have heard that the love story in this series, is inspired…
Oh is it? I am not aware of that! Thank you. I too couldn't help but wonder, if there were that many plagiarism issues, how come the novel and drama is still available? Such public stuffs will long be held accountable. Therefore, conclusion that I came would be, the real life incidents being inspiration behind the story.
And all those things they kept saying pro eSports players won't do this and that, they can't speak for every individual right? At the end of the day, each person is different, his priorities is different. Some of sports professionals screw up their competitions because of their personal issues and its common.
When I saw those comments I felt so bad. The drama was really good and FL did her best (won't say she had great acting, she has a long way to go).
I will check out the new platform that you mentioned.
That's a part of Chinese language culture. They refer to non-related individuals with family titles. Friends will…
Thank you for explaining! While watching Kdramas it took me a while to accept 'Oppa' being the term for both bro and love interest 😂 now that I am watching Cdramas I am sure I will get used to this as well 😂
This guy - only worked with 3 roles so far? He is so damn good and charming! Why isn't casting directors hiring him? He has got such a charisma! Any series would be an instant hit with him on main role 😍😍😍 can't wait to see a drama with him on lead

Some did point out about the acting of the FL (considering its her first role and her character maintained awkward personality throughout, I felt she did good job, not great but good enough to match ML and have beautiful chemistry) but the whole hatred is stemmed from plagiarism issues.
Apparently the novel itself was brewing with this controversy and making a drama out of it only added fuel to the fire. I saw the translated page of Douban and was shell shocked to see the netizens reaction. I didn't find even a single person who actually liked / appreciated the drama.
I don't support plagiarism either, as a writer myself, I strongly oppose it. However the series, was good. I enjoyed it. If all of this is copied then, respective action must be taken. If it's only inspired from real life, a clear disclaimer might solve everything (legal perspective I mean).
Netizens sentiments will never be on par with the drama until it's banned from the internet I believe. That's what they are petitioning currently.
It's not possible. I have a feeling that FILWYS have received a lot of negative reviews (because of e-sports controversy)…
I know. I am an Indian. Unlike Kdramas or Cdramas, Indian serials run for years (except few web series). Thanks to which, plot dragging, character killing and whole bunch of nonsense gets thrown into the mix. At the end, every drama feels like a reused plot of same stories.
That's how I ended dropping regional dramas and opting for Western shows ( US, UK have some of the best crime and action series.. that goes to multiple seasons I absolutely enjoy them).
Then I came across korean and Chinese series. To keep myself protected from falling for depressing or painful plots, I binge watch. Only when I know how the drama ends. I can't even handle unnecessary breaks and noble idiocy shit that's on trend for a decade. A story somehow is never complete without a silly breakup. I can't figure out why!!
That's why I watch snippets, trailers, teasers, episode clips, synopsis, reviews before deciding to watch something.
So far I have been happy with my choices. Dropped few CDramas like - Feel At Ease Mr. Ling etc. I love strong or lively FL without over-the-top antics or idiocy.
I have a strong urge to watch this drama. Even though I hardly prefer any Asian historical / period stories, this one is making me want to give it a shot.
Kindly enlighten me, how is the chemistry, romance and does it have a happy ending?
Can anybody tell me what's wrong with his neck? there was a red patch as he leaned to kiss Ju Kyung.
Is it related to series?
