Call me petty but HYO's maid as a new mage with good character 🤮...other than that the ending was fine.
I want to believe she's changed (or changing). For one, she showed loyalty - always took Lady Heo's side, said things aloud that Heo would never do so herself cause of her ego. Cho Yeong was able to forgive her for her slander. Maybe as a new mage, she can do good in the world
Cried for their dying, sacrifice, and deaths until they said JK, Buyeon(Seol-Ran) and Lee saved them! I’m kind of confused, does it mean Seol-Ran reincarnated into Buyeon or was Buyeon a different soul and Seolran took her body? Ms Jin (mama jin) accepted Naksu as Buyeon quite easily, and feels to be a warmer person now. Great to see.
Curious if the new King (turtle dad) and Cho Yeon (mama jin’s other daughter) know if it’s Naksu in Buyeon’s body still. It seems to be a secret xD

Bu Yeon is using Naksu. Naksu uses her (body) back. A like-kind exchange to me. Bu Yeon isn’t expressing any qualms about it. Soul is what is important. Body is just a shell. Buyeon is likely GONE when Naksu is kissing Uk and stuff lol, like she’s subsubsubsub-conscious
The ending of this drama is not going to be " Happily ever after together" it's neither going to happen in mortal…
In HDL, she was dead from the start. It has always been true that all of them would cross the bridge, so viewers were prepared (knew what was coming - even though ofc we are still sad). Here, it’s different :((

I haven't seen a Kdrama that paired FL with SML or ML with SFL. I thought in "Start Up," it would BE THE ONE to do that, but it ended up being a disappointment lol >.<
This drama did a good job portraying the characters. They aren't 2D, you know? In some (especially older) dramas, SFL would be super nasty, jealous, and cruel; SML would be super kind, patient, but bad timing with FL. Here, it's more realistic..
Anyway, I hope SML isn't breaking up with FL for a toxic reason.

Meh, I don't hate SFL but the friendship version of 'love-bombing' was kind of offputting I guess she just really wants to get closer and friends with FL, that she showers her with gifts and time? Other than that, she's pretty cool. Her confidence was a breath of fresh air to see, after watching FL wallow in self-pity, self-deprecation, and insecurities.

The story is told (mostly) from FL's POV - viewers easily empathize with her. From that view, it could be difficult to view SFL in an objective, brighter light.
These characters are well-written and feel human to me. SFL has her strengths, but also has her flaws. FL has strengths, but flaws as well (notably: her inferiority complex). Their personalities were formed from their experiences, and we can't fault them for that! Hopefully, we see character growth (especially from FL).
