It's likely she isn't even aware that she is manipulating him. She hasn't been very self-aware. Saya even pointed out to her that even she, longed for power. Her desire for power comes with both sides of the coin to "accept" - positive and negative.

I'm still a little wary of Saya though. He still respects Tagon and seemed happy(?) that Tagon is finally acting like a king..

He kept his promise to 연우 (Yeonwoo), that he’d become a betrayer. That way, 만월(Manweol) would keep living on.. - maybe in rage - but alive.

I agree. 찬성 would’ve had a hard time finding his way out. They kept saying how easy it is to get lost there. Body possession is what safely led him back to the real world :)
