In hindsight, the sister-in-law marrying the brother was a good thing for Haejin. No amount of Yuri's pleading…
They've really made Hae Jin make a 360 turn around (sudden character development).
I feel it's hardly a lose for Yoo Ri. She always knew her father was a deadbeat. As she grows up, she'll realize that her mother also has the right to happiness too. Her stepdad-to-be(?) is also a very kind, caring person. She'll see that her mom is happier with Dae Goo and is treated right.
I hope the drama doesn't make Jin Sang and Hae Jin get back together. :I Jin Sang hasn't changed at all.
There are so many commenters complaining of age gap. They are well over 18; the brain is usually fully developed by age 25. People with a large age gap can fall in love, and have a warm, loving family.
13 year age gap between ML and FL is perfectly acceptable. I know a couple IRL with a 10 year gap (both are working professionals with respectable careers). You wouldn't be able to tell they had a 10 year age gap unless they told you.
I have a feeling that they were best friends and the real one that he felt in love was the actress and the other…
Yeah :( The flashbacks kept showing Ha Jin saying it was all her fault; she couldn't even bring herself to say good-bye to her BFF at her funeral. It was likely an accident and Ha Jin blamed herself for it, so much that she couldn't live on without forgetting.
That betrayal wasn't from her husband alone, but from people (neighbor/friend/co-worker) she trusted. I can't believe they all aided and abetted adultery/cheating...
I swear who in their right minds would like to call this "Meow the secret boy"
You could still tell them you are watching, "Welcome," as 어서와 does mean Welcome (or use the Korean pronunciation, Uhsuhwah :))
I wouldn't call this drama by MDL's title lol. It's not the first time they had a strange translation for Kdrama titles...... But I get their reasoning. They want the drama page to be found easily by people who watch using English adaptations. *shrug*
This is the second drama I've seen where they point out fairy tales' portrayal of step-parents and how it can be harmful to a child's opinion of step-parenting. @__@ It's an interesting take. I've never considered it to be a possibility.
I got an eerie feeling after watching the ending to episode 1, so I went over to see the comments section for the Japanese version. I'll be dropping this before getting too emotionally invested >_<;
Thanks for this article! However, I was confused by the title "Upcoming 2020 manga adaptations" when most of the…
I agree that it is misleading, but it's a nice compilation of all 2020 Manga adaptations. Title without "Upcoming" would better describe it in a general sense.
I think you have to take into account how SRY was still a bit confused at that moment and he obviously had a hard…
His body moved before his brain - to go after Yi Seo. Soo Ah was so confident that he would continue to love her, no matter what. I thought the episode did a beautiful job showing Roy's realization of his feelings towards Yi Seo.
He doesn't owe Soo Ah anything. He was honest about his feelings towards Soo Ah. Even when Soo Ah felt his change of heart and almost commanded him to confess his love for her like the old days, you could see his hesitance. He knew he wasn't sure about his heart at the time.
I agree that he'll be candid about it with both Soo Ah and Yi Seo. Just like he was when he confessed his feelings for Yi Seo to Geun Soo. I'm really happy about it lol
I really wanted a redemption arc for Geun Won but the last episode made it impossible, I don't know he isn't a…
Geun Won kidnapped and now attempted two murders. I'll pass on that reincarnation/redemption idea.
He was given a chance when he got released from prison early for "model" behavior. Looks like he was only feigning it to get "revenge" on Roy. His sentence was too short from the beginning. He has no remorse! He blames everything - even his own actions - on the victims.
seriously that ending !!! I honestly thought he would turn the pg but when he met with SA and told her wouldnt…
I was hoping for the same. That maybe he turned over a new leaf, and Soo Ah accepts his feelings. But I guess that's all a fantasy lol... Like Soo Ah said: he hasn't changed one bit.
It's not a drop-everything-and-watch kind of drama, but it is alright so far. There are times when it's entertaining and other times when it drags on a bit so I fast forward - but everyone's interests are different. I recommend giving it a try.
