LOL same I went😳 when I saw that. yea it will 100% get cut if it’s cdrama land😂 I’m glad that none of kissing scenes I saw on spoilers of this drama didn’t get cut so far.

The way Tang Ding Ding is the one with the most wardrobe changes in this drama lol like she’s in different outfits everytime I saw her and she had a lot of scenes. ML FL kept recycling their outfits even from past flashbacks from 4 years ago😂
I had seen this a lot on modern cdrama tho, not surprising but still funny to see. I know some casts even used their own outifts sometimes. I guess TDD probably used her own wardrobe, that’s the only explanation.

idk tho so in your POV, he has every right to reject her but she didn’t have the right to avoid him because she didn’t believe in his too sudden ‘I want to court you’ after rejecting her? To me, they both have the right to act on their feelings. No one forced the ML to chase after FL right? She didn’t ask him too but yall babied ML too much imo😂 he’s a 30yrs old man, he knows what he’s doing. Same energy with calling her stalker etc (I don’t support this) but when ML did the same when he moved next to her door, waiting outside her door etc, no one said anything about him being creepy because yall thought he’s cute, right?😂
I totally side eyed every bias opinions that inclined to one side POV without understand the others just because you’re blinded by ML’s looks and aura. I’m not gonna lie, I love him too and found his efforts to court her were cute but I won’t be hypocrite about it.

Nah, many like her too. As much as some people dislike her due to her character who didn’t suit their taste, many people like her too. She can act well imo
Even in China, viewers been saying HRY acts well as TX. Character wise, it depends on people’s taste. I personally like her because I understand her POV. I dislike some scenes of her but overall, she’s different from repetitive modern cdrama characters I had watched.

I agree, they don’t match. LZX actually suits TX’s friend, You Huan imo. They have mature vibe. The actor who acted as LZX really can act well, I like his expressions. The actress who acted as TDD is the weakest in acting dept among the casts imo.
At this rate, I really can’t stand TDD and she has so many scenes at that.

ikr almost full of ep20 was about the second couple😩 it didn’t help that I found TDD sucks at acting, I won’t pay to watch the movie with her acting as FL huhu

I was quite shocked to see that. Well korean kiss scenes do have intense kisses with actors like Ji Changwook or Park Seo Joon etc but having tongue involved is quite rare lol

I like the pace of push & pull of this drama. I think they took their time to know each other better.
The flirting days are the most fun to watch imo sometimes it becomes less fun to watch when couple finally get together. For this couple, I’m glad they’re finally together now.

The amount of time I repeated the preview of ep19 are so unhealty lol can’t help it, they look so good and happy together, finally.

I HOPE SO, the romantic proposal that suits their careers so well. That’s an iconic scene in the book, I think they will have it.

This kind of drama is good for binge-watch. The wait is a torture. It’s almost ending btw.
Overall, I enjoy watching this. I think they leads have good chemistry, good acting and visually pleasing to watch. Their combination just worked. I also like the side plot of filmmaking adaptation of a novel.
As much as there’s bad reviews for the drama, there’s also a lot of good reviews for it which in normal for a drama. Some people will like, some won’t. You might want to judge it yourself. People have different taste anyway.

actors have no say on any approach of the characters? they’re the embodiment of it, it’s majority up to them on how they gave charm to their characters. Miles has his own charms indeed, aside from his good looks. The reason why I liked him on P&C, followed his works after. Just because I like him, I don’t have to be delulu 24/7 saying he’s better than acting school actors becasue those from acting school definitely have their own specialty came in handy. Some people have natural talent for acting but the basic skills are important too.

I agree about cdrama stan culture. Especially those chasing traffic stars, I personally found many of them lacking in acting but their popularity helped them to get mainstream S+ drama.
Miles has good foundation among ifans too because he has reputable works that were famous among ifans like UL, P&C. I believe IMLY will follow suit because it’s also 1st on wetv ranking in many countries. It’s gaining popularity. In China, it’s doing fine too amidst of many traffic actors drama. The reception of novel adaptation is good. Most viewers praised the acting skill of the main leads. They look good too.

Liking the drama and having the ability to critique shouldn’t be depended on each other? what nonsense? haha of course I can critiqur the acting abilities of actors that I have watched with my own eyes. People can critique and give feedback.

I get that you like Miles, I’m not ashamed to say I like him too but you should be open for constructive criticisms people have for him. It will help his growth. Plus there’s no use denying the truth and being defensive over something that’s obvious.

Btw I don’t like OFL too, I think it’s a hot mess with star studded casts (main leads) but disappointing quality. The drama was S+ budget at that, unlike this drama. So my expectation was higher. To make it worse, idk why some stans of OFL came here and started trashing this drama. I personally think this drama is better with lower budget than OFL.

TY’s parents are hillarious, his father is so practical with having the birthday date as all the date for confession & wedding anniversary so that it’s easier to remember and will save money😂
The mom was right, do not make confession in front of friends. I really dislike public confessions because yes, it’s like emotional blackmail.

Btw I just noticed on ep17, everytime TX seemed to secretly took pics of TY in the past, he actually noticed it and looked straight into her camera huh? so it wasn’t secretly taken photos.

That’s just my observation for his works so far. I know what I watched and said. He took different role for RWTW which is good even tho it’s a side character. But by now, he’s heavily streotyped, stuck with almost the same characters. I look forward to 19th Floor since the genre will be totally different from his usual work, a thriller.

He’s decent so far in other dramas I had seen of him, the characters were not that challenging but he made it worked with his charm and charisma. He can act naturally with comedic scenes as well but I won’t go as far by saying he’s better than actors who went to acting school like Zhang Wanyi for example. Miles still had so much things to learn. His acting will be challenged in more complex roles.
In IMLY I saw his improvement too. The synergy is great with his leading lady.. I like him on P&C but his acting there wasn’t better than in IMLY. In fact, P&C was the most lacking drama he was in to me. But it was a very sweet drama because it’s very simple, not a challenging character except towards the end when he needed to show emotions of parting with FL.
UL, I don’t really like the drama.
I will pick Huang Riying as his best acting partner so far because they nailed emotional scenes together.
