In this case, Gu Xun is not someone with no real life experience. In the beginning, it’s shown that he participated on the game tournament developer that looked big in the industry & he’s scouted by international companies as main game designer etc so he must have a lot of works under his belt.
But yea, he’s still very young and they got the budget as a start up, kinda like kdrama Start Up & those silicon valley young talents.

People who are not familiar with cdrama production always assumed stuffs especially when they came from kdrama ent. It’s not the same at all. They should know that cdrama took long to air because of distribution license.
Not like kdrama that still do ongoing filming while it’s airing. The pre production alsl won’t take long to air, usually just few months gap.

Same, I like their online interactions even the text messages. They’re very playful with each other & the convo was funny. He will tease her & she will tease back.
I can get why he likes her online. She’s such a cool girl and easy to get along with for a man like him.

It’s very light and enjoyable romcom so far.
I’m watching for Zhou Ye/Lin Yi tbh or else I don’t think I will watch this. They’re the main highlights.

FL’s character is a strong badass girl with temper but she pretended to be naive, soft girl because the ML fooled her into acting like one yet he didn’t know she’s doing that for him in real life to court him.

ML is the kind of guy who can notice when girls acting coquettishly or pretentious. Some guys can’t read this sneaky behaviours but he did. His character is interesting. He fooled the FL into acting like the type of girl he dislikes the most & she used that on him, it’s funny to watch. He called FL ‘snake’ at that LOL

I found it interesting that she fell for him offline & he fell for her online yet they both don’t know each other identities in real life but they were game partners online.

He’s mean to her so far in real life so I can’t wait to see how things will change once he knows about her indentity. Same goes to her.

I can’t really say this is she fell first, he fell harder trope because they’re both into each other but in different setting which is interesting.

I like the sister’s chic looks and style, she’s natural as well. She put up a strong front on the outside but she’s just a fragile baby inside who only showed that to people close to her like her driver who’s with her everyday.
I hope they will make her character more significant, I want to see her more.

First two episodes were slow yet they managed to rush the love triangle😅 my hands were so itchy to fast forward stuffs.

TO & IH, at least they’re truthful to each other about their business partners relationship instead of friends who were using each other. They made it clear from the start.

FL was lacking at acting and she’s a rookie so I understand. But for a complex character like her, they should pick someone who can act better, not just a pretty face but lack of presence. A character like her needs someone with strong presence.
IH’s sister, the rich daughter had better presence than the FL. I think she’s from The Best Mistake?

Why is this drama so boring?
I have watched till 4th episodes & the fun part is not even starting. FL ML have such less screen time together, they’re not building the chemistry.
I was so excited for Baifern’s new work but I think this drama is not fit for her, not her level. She should do a real lakorn with angst character on TV channel instead of GMMTV subpar adaptation of a kdrama/webtoon.
This drama is disappointing to watch.

Same, I want Isoo to punch him hard for real. It’s about time he realizes and admits that Isoo is more talented than him as a cop.
He just hates it when Isoo managed to solve the cases before them. Even Kanghyun is acknowledging Isoo now, but this Junyoung remains so smug & skeptical towards Isoo’s efforts.
yea forced bromance on ep8 was funny but I still side eyes this Junyoung. Bro, you’re good for nothing.

true I almost dropped it at ep1 because it was close to boring & trying hard with FL’s acting too comical with her dumb expressions most of the times.

I really like Kim Hyejun’s performance on A Shop For Killer and I proceeded to watch Inspector Koo after that. She’s really good. No wonder she won award on Baeksang for her acting on Inspector Koo.
I didn’t notice she was on Kingdom as the evil queen, I had watched it few years ago. She’s really versatile as an actress I must say. I will follow your work from now on, Kim Hyejun. I look forward to Cashero or maybe ASFK season2 if they gonna do it.

I took K’s side all the way, you’re not alone K, Song Yi-Kyung. Kim Hye Jun’s acting here was really good, no wonder she won Baeksang Award for it. I paid more attention whenever she’s on screen.
I was actually annoyed that she got caught in the end when all those criminals deserved to get punished horribly.
Btw that Santa annoyed me so much till the end. Like why on earth he’s not being honest about who he was till the end if he had nothing to hide? Like not a single explanation other than him denying what K said. His cute face can’t fool me😅

I just finished rewatching one of my alltime fav kdrama with HD pic quality made by kocowa. It felt so satisfying to see clearer resolution of old time classic.
After all these years, I still laughed at all Joo Yoorin’s antiques and other funny scenes of this drama.
Even watching this on 2024, it didn’t feel that outdated except the styling, gadjets etc I found the acting dept were believable too especially Lee Dahae, I miss her. She pulled off street smart yet silly girl very well. I usually found characters like JYR annoying but she made it so endearing and effortlessly funny. Her chemistry with Lee Dongwook was off the charts imo. Because of them I rewatched back their 2nd drama, Hotel King as well. I still think LDW’s best chemistry was with LDH.
The final episode dissappointed me tho because lack of sweet moments between Joo Yoorin & Seol Gongchan. Funny fake cousins couple😆

This drama is good so far.
Ep2 was kinda hard for me to watch because the treatment for the poor young Jian was harsh. I know it’s for her own good but the little kid actress was so good at acting. When she called out her uncle’s name & cried in his embrace, my eyes got teary. Great acting for such a young child.

LDW & KHJ have good acting synergy as uncle-niece.
