these people just want to hate on jjy, not like they’re fans of zhhz, they probably didn’t know her prior to this drama.
jjy is doing well both as evil shanghuan zhi which gave so much popularity to this drama and she also did well as yang caiwei. I’m not even her stan but I acknowledge her good acting here. If zhhz stays as ycw, it’s not even guaranteed this drama will still doing so well in China. Liks it or not, jjy is the main attraction along with liu xue yi of course. The have chemistry too.

same it gets much more interesting after the face swapped to me. The og yang caiwei was more melo to me, she has angsty vibe and it became more vibrant when jjy swapped with her. But I like jjy as the villain shangguan zhi, she’s gone too soon that I wish they gave her more scenes in the first 2 episodes.

It went head to head with In Blossom tho, 1-2 ranks exchanging between both

The biggest weapon of this drama is the main FL/ML visuals feast.
I watched it till the end because of Zhou Ye and Lin Yi’s chemistry and they’re hella pleasing to the eyes.

I like their push/pull before they get together because that’s usually the best part in romcom BUT this drama didn’t give much lovey dovey moments of the main couple even after they get together towards the end. Like I’m dying to see more moments of them together…alone.
And they didn’t give that much sweetness after they finally became a couple. Not even scene of them going on a date etc like wth😹
Like I get all the company stuffs etc to give more substance to the drama but the way they shoved all the company/parents conflicts towards the end until they barely had sweet moments on main couple towards the end was such huge disappointment.
I don’t even dream to see proposal or wedding scene of them, like even date scene was non existent mygod
idk I feel like this drama is too scared to give more intimate moments for Lin Yi/Zhou Ye. It gave off that vibe.
Even in short period of time after they dated, they still managed to shove misunderstanding plot that almost looked like they will separate smh

I can relate to Qianling being considered good & talented, where most of her designs immediately approved by Mr. Jiang in business unit 1 but when she went to business unit 9 where the team pro gathered, she’s considered weakest link. It’s the same situation where you’re the smartest in your class but when you went to higher level places, you realized everyone else are smarter and you’re not that talented as you think, relatable😅

I did think that Fan Xing girl was too harsh on QL but she probably wants someone really capable to keep up with the team so that their progress won’t be delayed. QL also gave bad impression being late on the first day she joined the team even tho she had good reason for it, other people didn’t know. QL’s design was probably that bad if everyone in the team agreed with that anyway, even GX. I like how GX can be professional as a team leader at work and still can give comfort to QL after work hours.

Ep1 was tear inducing episode. It was heartbreaking.
I wonder what the husband saw in the video. I don’t think he’s cheating tho, probably something bigger that can give mental breakdown to his wife because the Congressman did say ‘you need to protect your wife’ when he blackmailed him and got him to sign NDA.

Cha Eunwoo’s character is probably the child who had his parents died in the fire caused by Soo Hyun’s inmate. His family’s case was probably wasn’t that simple as well. Considering how they will investigate together, their cases were probably related to each other, involving those corrupted politicians.

yes this one in the drama was nice with the female voice, probaby remake by a korean singer. Will have to wait for more details about it.

I also follow mostly kdrama, jdrama, thai drama & western series.

I really want to like this show because I like Baifern & I had watched Win Metawin’s good acting on Enigma but this drama is mediocre at best. There are good adaptations that did better than original webtoon etc tho
I think thai original series & lakorn with their original scripts are better. GMMTV have their own good original series too.

Kim Namjoo clarified that there’s no romance between her character & Cha Eunwoo’s character. They will be investigating the cases of the families.

same, I like their gaming team members. The 3 of them are so supportive about GX/QL. They tried to help them to get together & they’re funny at that. Convo like that in drama is usually boring but it worked with them.
I know QL will be so mad at all of them once she knows the truth tho, another bomb dropped lol

lmao GMMTV is well known to butcher kdrama/webtoon adaptation. People won’t criticize adaptations if it’s done good but this drama didn’t manage to be good, hence the criticisms. People can’t have taste and standard, unlike you?

You surely don’t watch much thai lakorn if you didn’t know the differences in quality/production/acting etc compared to webdrama like GMMTV. Even the actors on GMM can’t easily act in TV drama like Channel3 if their acting is not up to par. Baifern is one of the actresses who can transition well with TV drama & GMMTV works because of her acting chop.
This is like kdrama on TV vs youtube webdrama, get it?

It’s quite clear you didn’t know the hierarchy of thai entertainment industry when it comes to drama. Like you will rarely see actors from TV drama like channel3 etc on GMMTV works that is dominated by newbie rookies with some veteran actors who can do both.
If you have watched popular lakorn from Yaya Urassaya, Nadech, Mark Prin, James Jirayu etc who are popular among ifans, you will know they’re all lakorn (TV drama) actors, the highest hierarchy because they have acting chops & seniors in the industry. Baifern is one of them too but she still does GMMTV drama along with lakorn, because she’s free agent as well. Other Channel 3 actors are bounded by contracts with the network. So they will do lakorn.

Finally, a moment alone together for more than 1min for the actual main leads towards the ending of ep5.
I was ready to throw fist throughout watching ep5 because the main leads moments weren’t highlighted again as they’re busier interacting with supporting roles & lucky that they finally have it at the ending.

I have this impression that the writer of this drama doesn’t know how to do romance because all they did are giving all the conflicts at the beginning without built up of romance between main leads. And suddenly they’re giving it all at once on the ending of ep5, thank god finally.
The conflict with the mom helped them to reconcile, okay. Next he gonna move in probably next to her house or nearby.
At least they’re okay now and Liu didn’t misunderstand Guy anymore.

I still think the drama moved unnaturally fast with the conflicts because they kept throwing it in one after another and they didn’t make it smooth as well.

After being rejected, QL did say she got punished for not being truthful to herself & pretending to be someone she’s not.
tbh she’s a bit sneaky, using her smart brains to trick others but she also has her naive side to believe in her online friends’ suggestions.

He’s definitely the kind of guy who can sense it when someone acting like a snake. I actually understand why he called her a snake even tho it’s misunderstanding but he also saw her tricking the other girl who had a crush on him.

They’re both not perfect characters with their personalities, like the rest of us. They have their own flaws but I still like both of them.

true, I don’t even bother with their complains when I saw their points of hating. Always ended with comparison with past drama. The genre alone ia vast different. Make it makes sense first lol
This drama is going well so far.
It’s romcom but not the kind of empty romcom with no substance. I like how the shows these youth entering workforce after their study. They also showed issue about social anxiety which I can relate to when I was a rookie with workforce.
ML FL heading towards the same goal, they want to do games/arts with chinese elements and culture. I like it so far.

Some complainers coming from stans of previous drama of the leads, mostly male lead. They ship the other couple from the past drama I noticed lol
They keep comparing when the genre is totally different.

So far the ‘love triangle’ was just light, passing by admirers who didn’t even stand a chance since both leads are attractive people. We don’t even know who’s SML or SFL lol
