I hope you will resume later. That drama also surprised me with how much I enjoyed it despite starting because of the trailer and it’s my first time watching both leads. ML started to like the FL around ep4-5, romance started around there as well. And it’s so sweet after that, you will be satisfied with the romance despite some political issues.
ikr I feel so evil for laughing at him when he’s at his worse state lol but her he’s an evil himself. What Bu Yulu said to him when they’re in the forest was right. Plot twist about him actually turning into ‘eunuch’ and BYL calling him ‘paranoid & arrogant’ in front of everyone was so satisfying to watch😂

You’re complete opposite of me, I never watch any of Dylan of Chen Yuqi dramas even the famous LBFAD, but I did see the clips and still not interested to watch it yet. I watched this drama because of the trailer but I’m surprised that I actually enjoyed it so much, it’s so good I can’t bear to see it ending in 2 days.

ep31 was just crazy good! so satisfying to watch. From XD fighting, battle scenes to BYL pointing her finger to the useless Emperor and calling him paranoid & arrogant to defend Xiao Duo. When she said that I was like ‘yes girl yes tell him’! Sad to hear Bu Yulu really treated his 2 daughters like cats or dogs, just like what BYL said. He asked to kill his own children smh. Last 4 episodes now, I don’t want this to end because it’s getting good like this😌

I had watched case 4 drama, Serenade of Peaceful Joy because I like Ren Min as Princess Fukang, that story ended sad for both of them but her father the Emperor really loves his daughter. I like to see their father-daughter moments. But in that drama, the skinship between Princess Fukang & Huaiji were really tamed tho, they’re sweet but still maintained politeness unlike this drama, the skinships are wild but I’m not complaining lol
When BYL confronted her father about XD’s brother and talked about how her father forced her mom to be his mistress, I understand that this could be one of the reasons why BYL didn’t want to be anyone mistress or let alone a consort. Her mom ended badly like that of course YL just wants to be a free woman, living with the man she actually loves.
