Bro the people joking about kidney deficiency and not being able handle 2 girls 💀That doesn’t even make any…
I had some guesses but I had to Google it to make sure. In traditional Chinese medicine, kidney yang deficiency directly influences sexual activity and fertility. A deficient “yang” leads to infertility, impotence, and low sexual drive. Lol
I did a rewatch of Ep 14 and I think I picked up on something funny only after rewatching a scene that I didn’t…
So Fu Sheng borrows Tuoba Ruo’s knife and when she comes to his clinic to get it from him, he offers to show her around, including his bedroom and i'm like ??? She figures out that he only wanted something and confronts him why he didn't just ask her. He said Gu Tian taught him that to get closer to his friends.
I'm like why the hell is Gu Tian teaching Fu Sheng to show his friends his clinic and bedroom??? 😭🤣
Fu Sheng, Fu Sheng, Fu Sheng .... He's crazy indeed. How can he touch a girl's face, hold and compliment her,…
It made good comedy, but it's gonna be an uphill battle for Wen Jue 😭 totally different from Chu Chu's situation cause Xiao Jinyu was pretty much intrigued by Chu Chu since ep 1 and was protective of her ever since, while Fu Sheng just friendzoned Wen Jue. At ep 13/30 there's no indication he likes Wen Jue 😶
Wen Jue and Fu Sheng have such a wholesome moment 🥹 She just giggled so naturally when he fell 😭🤣
Then the transition to him losing control of his imagination 🤣 Only NOW does he think he's crazy huh?! 🤣 (shoutout to the scriptwriter for thinking of giving us scenes of his thought processes)
I've seen Yuan Bingyuan (FL's actress) in My Sassy Princess so I gave this one a shot. I loved her innocent portrayal of Xuanji. Enjoyed her chemistry with the ML too and would've wanted more 'peacefully happy scenes' between them than the angst we got in the second half but what can we do about it since this is a xianxia 🤣
What also stood out to me is Linglong's actress' portrayal of a victim of kidnapping/SA. Felt really bad for her.
As frustrating as the villains were, the dad was surprisingly frustrating to me cause of how useless he was despite having such a 'regal' and fatherly aura 😅 then again all the older sect leaders/elders were useless in this 🤣🤣
Cover poster is really gorgeous. Didn't care about the wings much until I knew why they were there. 😂
Okay. What's that enunch' obsession with moustache and dressing up? He is always putting some fake beard on or…
From what I understood, since he's a palace eunuch, he was castrated before puberty. Puberty is responsible for facial hair. So his obsession for facial hair shows his desire to be more than a eunuch, or a general longing for the manliness he never developed. I thought it was a clever quirk that made his character more memorable haha.
The trailer looks pretty good. I'm trying to keep my expectations low though cause I really loved the couple's progression in Melody of Golden Age (esp that confession scene!!) and I don't know if this will be just as good.
no none! everyone is very loyal to eachother in a very romantic yearning kind of way! there is an annoying antagonist…
Just started this last night and I'm already on ep 33 lol (watching on average ×2 speed cause im too impatient) rahhhh xuan ji and si feng are so cute 🥹
This was good in terms of the background story being central to the plot (with some minor plotholes/forced plot twists at the end). I'm not usually a fan of flashbacks being overused but here, the pacing was meant to involve the past timeline as much as the present timeline (with the past timeline being more important lol).
I also think that Qu Sangeng, as the supposed ML, was way outshone by young Lu Zhi and Song Chen, and I'm not sure you want your main characters outshone or becoming less relevant (unless that's what you were going for?).

gotta write down her lines about her dad cause they were so sweet 🔥

I will already cry if anything happens to our Wen family. 🍉🍉🍉 🩷🩷🩷

Binge-worthy but not rewatchable for me.
