The drama is great and the main couple is a joy to watch.

Janice Wu never fails to amaze us. Her short guest role in Meet Yourself was great and I wanted to see her in a drama with the main role. And in this drama, she delivered big time. She is just so fun to watch. Come to think of it, whatever drama she acts in as in the main role, support role, or guest role, her characters always make some deep impressions.

Hey, same issue with MDL like you. I was thinking it was my problem only.
Overall I liked the drama. The ending was good too. But expected a bit more, wanted to watch the main couple more in the ending. I was expecting them all to gather at Nandu in their gambling house and having a party together :D. If I was a screenwriter I would write like that.

Which ones you suggest among the dramas that are you currently watching?

Yes, they were actually the true couple. I wonder how far their relationship developed over the episodes. At first, they seemed like enemies to each other. But, over the time they developed this mutual understanding.

Always prefer happy endings, but anything is ok as long the story is good.

Yeah, last 4 episodes with Prince Fu was kinda predictable imo. There were always some twists in the story. But, when the master is introduced somehow the story fell flat.

Another drama ended. I expected more from the last few episodes. But, overall it was a very good drama and I enjoyed it a lot. Don't know what to watch now.

Any suggestions regarding the ongoing dramas or any upcoming dramas? Highly appreciate your suggestions.

So many deaths in the last few episodes. I wonder how many more deaths are waiting for us in the next 2 episodes. It was already heartbreaking to see Jin Biao, Bu Fan, and Kang Qiao dying, hope Mingyu, MengLan, or any other important characters don't die in the next episodes.

I actually didn't like the last 2 episodes. There were a lot of mysteries before. Many of those mysteries got resolved in the last episodes. But, somehow everything felt a bit anticlimactic. Just don't know why.

We have a cliffhanger at the end of episode 34. But at this point, we can all somehow guess that there is no cliffhanger in this. Yun Xiang already guessed that to happen. So, I think YaNan was just pretending over there to be drugged. Also, people surrounding Madame Kou, maybe she is not there or she had some plan of her own. Maybe Kou YuanJie is acting under YX all along, who knows? Let's hope for an exciting finish without any more deaths.

A good guess. Prince Fu could be the mastermind behind all these. He has a high position to manipulate everything. So, it is a good possibility.

I get him. But it contradicts what we saw from him so far. He was always a composed person. Somehow he totally lost it here. I guess, love makes him dumb after all.

How much is the drama plot different from the novel plot? Does the novel have a happy ending?

What is wrong with Yun Xiang? Why is he acting so pathetic after Yanan left him? It's hard to see him like that. Hope he forgets everything and focuses on politics more.
The plot is going crazy. Don't know what to expect. Who is the Master actually? Maybe he is the real villain? Nanfang also seems to have plans of his own. Is Madam Kou a good person? She might, at least she cares about her family. What favor Lord Liu would ask to YX? What is the princess's role in the plot?
And we have to wait 4 days to get some of the answers. It's a long wait.

Wow! got really surprised by this drama. I didn't expect it to be that good. It has a good mixture of suspense, action, and romance. The plot and the characters are interesting and unpredictable. Wonder why it's not as popular as other dramas.
Really want to know what would happen next and how the mysteries get solved. Wish they have some previews/trailers for the next episodes. But, I don't think we have any. The previews in other dramas spoil me too much, I guess.

Thanks for your feedback. Sad to hear that you didn't like it. It is a slow drama and unlike other dramas, it runs entirely on character interactions. So, not everybody would like it. You need to give yourself enough time to properly enjoy it.
If you mainly care about the romance, you have to wait. Mainly it comes in the second half.
About the MDL ratings, it is not easy for a Cdrama to get a rating of 8.9 and only with mere 3000 votes (with 10k votes it would easily get a 9 rating or even more). Also, the experience of the viewers who watch a series later (not when it is airing) would not be the same. Ratings always go down with time. But I saw this drama maintained a steady rating so far, which of course means something.
My suggestion would be If you don't like it now just drop it. Try it someday later when you feel bored and have nothing to watch.

The drama started strong and I liked it before. But, I don't know anymore. Unnecessary misunderstanding, no proper development between the leads, the annoying doctor and stalker girl, stupid behaviors from different characters. And all the previews of the next 6 episodes don't show any improvement but them going backwards. The drama is becoming frustrating. I don't know what to expect from this drama anymore. Maybe it is better to drop this drama now and watch it later when all the episodes are released.

Today's episodes were fun. Father and son dynamic was the highlight of today. As usual, our main couple is fun to watch. The second couple is also cute. I'm not sure about the doctor and the stalker girl couple. So far no villain in the drama. I like the drama this way.

Good to see you here. So far, I like this drama very much. Like you, I also like the light-heartedness comedic dialogues. The dynamic between ML, FL and Son are fun to watch.

The first 4 episodes are very much enjoyable. Overall the drama seems very good. All kinds of typical cliches were thrown into the story. It almost feels like a Chinese webnovel. I was laughing myself at some of the scenes. Especially when the FL was driving that vehicle, and also FL was hacking into ML's computer. C'mon, this is nothing but a typical webnovel, lol. But, whatever it is the drama is very much enjoyable. Good acting, good chemistry and overall good production, these are enough to make a good entertaining drama. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, the last 2 episodes and FL not knowing ML's condition were really frustrating to me. Honestly it doesn't make any sense and that's the whole picture of the drama. A lot of things did not make any sense. The drama had a very good potential but somehow it missed that opportunity.
