It’s good to see they used those extra novel chapters for the Gongsun Yin × Princess storyline in the drama. I hope they use more of the extra chapters, but 40 episodes is too little to cover everything.
Could be correct, though. If it is, then it must include all the cheek kisses and forehead kisses too. We already have two or three of the kisses done.
From the ep 34 preview, I really don’t like where the story is heading. Why did they have to change it from the novel? I just hope that with three more episodes left after ep 34, they still can fix the mess they’ve created
I read the novel last year, so I can’t remember the exact details. From the calendar, i believe it happens somewhere…
Haha, she’s normally a smart person, but for some reason the writer made her act dumb in this part. Some things were so obvious, yet the writer forced her into cluelessness regarding the identity issue for no real reason.

Well, the losers, as you call them, aren’t actually that important to the main story. They’ll wrap up all the village-related plotlines by around episodes 16–17, I believe. After that, they won’t return to the village. The story shifts to the battle fleet in different regions, and the final arc takes place in the capital. As for the village characters, FL’s uncle will die soon. FL’s ex‑fiance isn’t an important character at all. He later moved to the capital and failed the exam. In the end, he unknowingly applies for a house‑teacher position for FL’s sister, and that’s how they meet again. Honestly, he’s not significant to the plot and can be ignored. ML and FL both never really cared about him.

Well, all I can say is that it happened after they stayed in the tent together (episode 23 on the calendar). He was injured, and she took his armor to replace him on the battlefield. Later, ML followed her to the battlefield, and that’s when she found out

Yeah, it was a bit late, but that’s what happened. There were some misunderstandings going on. As for the fight, I don’t think they ever fought against each other—only sparring sessions and practice fights. Later, they were assigned to different regions of the fleet. Maybe they fought together once or twice in the final battle, or ML secretly saved FL a couple of times. I don’t remember clearly. From the trailers, there might be some changes. But for the identity reveal, you’ll have to wait until around episode 25.
i read the novel but forgot about it, can you tell me please. thank you.
I had to reopen the last chapter to check. It was explained in the final portion of the chapter (the last 10%). When Mu Qingyan asked Zhao about Xiaolan’s daughter, she explained everything to him. Also earlier, when the ML and his child were talking about Haonan, the ML also said Haonan had been acting very strange when they heard about Xiaolan's pregnancy and birth of the daughter. Xiaolan’s daughter’s birth was public knowledge, so he knew from the very beginning. Xiaolan just didn’t tell anyone else until she sent a letter to Zhao.

Didn’t Haonan know from the very beginning? He was acting strange when he first heard about Xiaolan’s pregnancy. I believe the last extra chapter confirmed that he secretly visited the mother and daughter a few times and spent some private time with them outside the sect. Xiaolan also mentioned that he treated her well and was a good father to her daughter. So they did spend some time together over the years, just not very much.
Damn, a 7.4 rating is wild. I saw it at 8.4 just a few hours ago and thought the ratings would go up, but now… lol. I really liked the first two episodes. I don’t know, it has a trauma theme, but there’s something genuinely feel‑good about this drama. I don't think there is any antagonist here and all the characters are good. I already like this drama a lot. Now I have to wait another six days for new episodes 😔😔
Watched the first 2 episodes. It's a strong start, I would say. The premise is good, and there’s potential for a lot of interesting developments in the future episodes. I like this drama so far.
