Well, I don’t know how she was in the past. But based on the events we’re seeing now, I don’t think I can say that. I know you want to find all the good in her, but intentionally manipulating family members, creating a toxic environment, and being power‑hungry (maybe even more) doesn’t disappear. We can’t blindly say it’s all for the betterment of the family. If something is bad, it’s bad, there’s no way to sugarcoat it.

Well, if your character is bad, there might not be any ‘right person’ for you.

I also want to believe she has a plan. It just makes me sad to watch that Yan guy almost take the wedding vow while she just stands there. Let’s see, maybe we’ll get something different tomorrow. But for today, I’m left with this bitter taste.

Ep 29 Preview: I’m happy after seeing the next episode preview — the kiss and the wedding hall entrance look great. But I still feel a bit sad seeing RSB standing there in the wedding hall. Come on, she can solve all those cases, fool the governor and everyone else, yet she has no plan for the wedding and just stands there. She’s smarter than this, and it doesn’t match her character. Honestly, it just makes me sad.

Wish I could slap that Yan guy.

Haha, same. I hate the grandma the most in this drama. To me, she’s the main villain—instilling false values and ideologies in her family members and constantly trying to manipulate them for her own purposes.

Haha, a lot of comments today. I opened MDL after dinner and saw so many opinions about the romance. Come on, just chill. I actually share the same view as you, I also wish there were more romance. I think we’ll get more romance to in today’s episodes. Based on the calendar, it looks like we’ll get some romance payoffs in eps 28 and 29.

Yes, she’s smarter than that. She can feel sad and heartbroken, but she shouldn’t let those emotions guide her into making such an important decision. Let’s just hope they fix everything in one episode—I really can’t handle this dragging on to ep 29 and wait another day.

I didn’t really like the ep 28 preview, tbh. It looks like there will be a wedding ceremony in ep 28 based on the calendar. I just hope RSB has a plan or a good reason for agreeing to that wedding, otherwise I’ll be disappointed in her.

I don’t buy any of the so‑called hints people keep trying to find about the grandma. Seriously, some viewers are desperate to give her a redemption arc. But how can you redeem someone who destroyed the entire family and ruined the lives of multiple generations?

I think Yunshu could become an ally. She just hates all the resentment the grandma created and how the family treated her over the years. Deep down, she’s still a good girl, or at least that’s what I want to believe.

LJL and RSB are amazing together and honestly the best part of the drama. It’s just a shame we don’t get to see them together as often as we’d like.

I’m starting to like the 4th sister now. She feels genuine, and she seems to be getting used to the tea plantation. I can see her managing it in the future, that’s clearly what RSB is training her for. I also like the 2nd sister a lot now. That motherly affection really changed her; she’s seeing everything in a new, positive way. The only sister with zero character development is the 3rd sister. She feels completely irrelevant to the story

Great, you don’t have to painfully wait for the episodes like other. But in that case, you’ll miss out on all the ongoing discussions and theory‑crafting we’ve been doing for the past two weeks. Honestly, this is one of those rare dramas where the viewing experience really thrives and becomes so much more exciting when you follow the daily discussions. Anyway, happy watching.

Well, the ending could still be satisfactory, and I believe it will be based on the spoilers I’ve seen. They’re spending a lot of time on the Rong family dynamics, which seems to be the main focus now and honestly, I don't mind that. But the real issue is the capital arc. We see many new characters in the trailers, but with so little time left, how can they properly develop them? Those characters probably won’t be as important as we think. The arc might end up being short and less satisfying. But I don’t think it will have much impact on the ending. The ending itself could still be longer and more satisfying overall.

I’m fast‑forwarding and skipping scenes just to finish the episode, and it’s still hard. The drama has turned into a mess. They claimed they wanted to make it realistic, but somehow they made everything even more unrealistic than it could possibly be. The constant jumps between past and present, the FL acting far less mature than her character's age, and the one‑dimensional villains don’t help at all. Everything feels distracting. The show started with a promising plot and stunning visuals, but the rest of the story and its execution have become a complete mess. Sigh.

Yes, that’s true. But honestly, 8.5 is way too low for a drama like this. This is more like an 8.7‑rated (maybe more) drama, and I hope it eventually reaches that. But sometimes some dramas are just unlucky and get hate and downvoted for no real reason.

Well, I don’t know what’s going on with the rating, but it’s actually going downward. Three or four days ago, this drama was ranked around #550, and now it’s at #611. If it keeps dropping like this, the rating might fall to 8.4. It doesn’t make sense at all. The drama has had some of its best episodes in the last few days, yet the rating keeps going down. You would think that once other dramas like TUS and Shine on Me finished airing, viewers would move to this drama and the rating would go up. But the opposite happened.
