Let's say the item is with guardian 2. Xu qi an asked guardian 1, "If you are him, what will you say?" Then he answered, "item is not with guardian 2".
Now, whoever xu qi an asked, their response will always be FALSE. This is because combination of a positive and a negative will always be negative. Combination of 2 negatives will always be positive. In this scenario, 1 positive and 1 negative are combined (guardian 1 truth, guardian 2 lie). Whoever he asks, answer will be false.
