i'm crying miao jing has had chen yi in the palm of her hand since she came back. tu li not knowing who miao jing is and her girls backing her up is hilarious to see, and i wasn't surprised about the status of their relationship
chen yi dropping everything for miao jing already says so much about him - he needs to care more about himself and not just miao jing :(
ep. 13 i'm cackling so bad after chen yi failed to make her move out, miao jing basically did a reverse uno on his bluff to 'sell' the house and throwing away personal possessions like her student photo. i love their dynamic.
i cannot believe chen yi went through all the trouble of getting her a job and she kicked those job interviewers to a curb with her sharp comebacks fdsjalf;jdskgd she's a real queen
just watched up to ep. 12, man the tension between miao jing and chen yi is driving me crazy - especially chen yi - his eyes and defeated state tell a story without saying
miao jing definitely has something up her sleeve as the boys are trying their best to keep her away from all the dangers of their city and purposefully avoiding close relations again
the amount of lipstick on tangkwa and proud's lips when they were making out in bed is frying me. and i actually wished wine threw her bra at lal when they were on the bed lmao that would have sent me in a frenzy
edit: okay that ending scene was crazy, i swear i don't talk about make out scenes this much but that was a lot LMAO ewb you will be missed
I actually liked the angsty parts of longing between the two for the final episode despite the many plot holes, like the twin just dying like that, Grace's true goal and presence was reduced to a single line even though she/they're the major reason behind the whole plot; "the traitors were executed," and Prince Karel's sudden observant skills towards Blew's relationship with no follow up on the kingdom's succession. There was a lot of unnecessary shootings and firearm scenes which could have been used to fill in these plot holes.
ep. 2 was much more moderately paced this time and ran is slowly waking up from her patience by calling out her gossiping coworkers. i cannot wait for her to grow out of her avoidant tendencies because this is what caused all these issues. it's nice to see neen is also realizing that she has been harsh on ran even though ran should have been backing her up during those fights with the MIL and recalling memories from the beginning of their relationship
first half of ep. 1 and man, i would rather end it all than deal with a crazy in law like ran's mom...i feel sad for both girls to deal with this psycho
just as much as i love the way lal protects her, i am just disappinted at the way wine treats lal..i mean lal…
i agree, wine's personality is more on the avoidant and introverted side compared to lal's explosive and confrontational mindset. we keep seeing repetition of wine's avoidant behavior :(
Finally got around to watching this, even though I've been listening to the same name titled song for a couple of years now (plus jolin tsai and hebe tien's version as well). It was absolute cinema, both actors portrayed their roles well and especially Jiahan who did not run from his true feelings nor felt self-hatred towards his sexuality and embraced it instead (king shit), vs. Birdy who did. Now we see them in their later years, which was an awkward transition but brings forward a new perspective of open-mindedness and acceptance in a different era.
i knew there was a catch behind wine's photo for the discount at the spa! it just had to be medsai/jamie who noticed it haha. i'm enjoying how healthy and transparent lal and wine's relationship is through the way they communicate and resolve conflicts in episode 5
Episode one and omfg I'm already hooked. Enemies to lovers trope always hits no matter the circumstances. Jingjing's face card is crazy and Jan as Lal is a perfect fit, the chemistry is chemistry-ing! I haven't been this excited for a GL since Poisonous Love and Us, absolute cinema! Snap23 team has always been spectacular, and they delivered once again.
Lada's father should have not been included in the finale episode and jailed or something. It took a medical issue to make him suddenly a pathetic and non-misogynistic spouting parent while Lada and her mother still care for him despite his evil manipulation and blackmailing tactics.
so much angst on episode 7! watching apo put in so much effort to win back lada's trust is making me cheer her on. seeing her in casual clothing, the drones, and the flower stall outside of her icy workaholic mode shows how much apo loves lada haha
a nice little detail i like for episode 7: the actress who plays bambi's mother did an eye twitch with pursed lips after bambi walks away from her when she was looking through her fiona designs. bambi's eye twitches and purses her lips frequently whenever she's in deep thought.
the plot with prim's father being a deadbeat dad was lowkey unneeded for this show aside from bambi flexing thousands of baht at him. he's garbage for begging for money from prim but i don't know if that was necessary for this episode, or just filler

i literally need all of the episodes nowww
