Nah, him learning the truth of why MC left him was a HUGE plot point as everything was built on that post-surgery. Everyone was waiting for her/someone else to tell him. It was such a let down that no one, neither his mom nor MC talked about the reason behind her leaving him. (Her friend told him instead and no one touched the subject after that which is just UGH) After all Ren suffered and questioned MC's love for him throughout almost all the series because of that seperation. (and fully forgave her after knowing the truth) So it was a damn huge plot point. Yes, he learned that his mom loved him and all, but still what she did was wrong and I'd loved to see him confront his mom about it and talk with MC. It didn't feel completed to me. You may disagree, but I think differently on that matter.
This is one from few drama that I develop second FEMALE lead syndrome....
I liked Chae Kyung as well. She was a smart, strong and independent woman who wasn't afraid to speak up her mind. A refreshing female character, indeed !
I mean dafaq? Just because he acted like a decent human being and run off to hold the hand of his falling father he suddenly decides to break up with Mo Ne? After promising her not to leave her ever again and to marry her? Over such a stupid thing? Not because he was responsible for her dad's death, but over a mere hand holding in a life-death situation? I call BS on that !
The last episode could've been entirely spent to show their happiness as a couple. Such a waste. >.<
I regret having started this drama. It's way too long and thus draggy. The whole fighting over the hotel was damn boring. A lot of crazy and nonsense happened. It went downhill after episode 10. The only positive thing was the chemistry between the leads which is why I started to watch and endured (fan of My Girl). Although I must say Lee Dong Wook's acting was too wooden and robotic in this. It was prolly cuz of the character, I dunno..
I disliked the final too as it was very boring and the obligatory, stupid, unnecessary, last minute kdrama separation stroke again which is just a major turn-off.
This man is a real pro. He made me hate him in "Giant" and "Rosy Lovers" (in this one he made me LOL a lot too with his ridiculousness & crazyness :D). He can act very well and convincing. A great passionate actor :-)

Neither MC told him why she left him which I found very strange and lacking to be honest..:/ (yes he knew thanks to Tuo Ye but how did MC know that he knows?) On top of that, this was the most important plot point. One point from my rate deducted for this plot hole.
I found it dragging tbh, but I liked it for being more realitsic & mature than most dramas and touching some rare subjects. I also loved that everyone got a happy ending. I just wish it had one more episode. That way we could've seen the happiness of the OTP much longer. The very few minutes were way too short..The only thing that really bothered me was (spoiler):
This man has an elegant vibe about him. No wonder why they chose him to play the prince in Goong. The role really fitted him. :D
I like his looks and acting ^^ He definitely needs to make more dramas.
It took me by surprise to see that Suk Hoon had indeed some feelings for his wife, but the realization came far too late. Only her death could make him stop just like MY had asked him before. Also, it's implied that SH is going to commit suicide. If only he had listened to his dad and tried to forgive them and live happy.
As for Mi Yeon, her unhealthy obsession with her evil husband lead to her demise. She wasn't mentally normal anyway, or else she wouldn't have loved a psycho like him and covered all his crimes, even helping him to murder. >.<
I'm very happy our OTP got their well-deserved happy ending. They were such a cute couple and their daughter looks adorable ^^ I wonder if she was born in prison or not. We don't know how many months or years JS spent in jail, so it's hard to tell :P
I just wish they would've made it more clear if JS had indeed a twin sister aka Eun Ha or not. If not why did they show that dead sister and made the mom panic when JS asked her in the hospital? :/ Now I'll keep wondering forever lol.
It was an entertaining and addicting drama with good acting and OSTs, but it had too many plotholes. The writer could have done better. Then we would've had an almost perfect drama. ;)
But this drama made more sense to me than Secret. The latter I found more confusing when it came to some plot points.

It wasn't stated, but it was most likely due to the heavy beatings he received from the men of SR's dad in the final episode. They hit his head and all. Must be the after effect.
Ugh, Mi Yeon I hate her now ! She's totally blinded by her obsessive, twisted, unhealthy love for her husband. And he so uses that. She sees fault in Eun Ha and now Ji Suk but none in her husband. Imo the true crazy one is Mi Yeon. It's like she has multiple personalities and changes her way of thinking constantly. Scary !
Btw, it was weird that Ji Hyuk started to have an allergic reaction to the peanuts one day after he drank that tea, and not immediately. A bit unrealistic there.
As for episode 18, didn't Ji Suk spent more than half of her shares to her charity organization (90% if I remeber correctly)? So what little of her shares is she using to trick Seok Hoon? That's hardly enough to impress him. :/
And how does she know that he will start a fire at 7pm? Especially when he knows that reporters are coming soon to interview them. Things doesn't make much sense anymore.
