This has gotten a bit complicated for Jung hwan now. He knows now that Taek likes DS too and I'm guessing that he'll try to stay away from her because of that. Poor him, he couldn't even confess his feelings yet and then this happens..As for DS I think she has started to feel something for JH now that she thinks he likes her. Just like how she felt with SW before. And then there's Taek. I'm curious to know what will happen when he confesses to DS. Can't wait to see DS's reaction. Maybe she'll date him thinking that JH doesn't like her after all, even though we all know that he does.
Also, yay for SW & Bora, they're so cute. He has finally managed to win her heart LOL :D
I'm still shipping SW's mom and Taek's dad. They so need to get together :-)
Watched epi. 9 and I have a question: The property owner of the house Sun Woo's family lives in is the grandma…
Ah I see, thanks for the reply :) Exactly. If she had an ounce of decency in her and a sense of shame, she would transfer the deed of the house to Sun Woo's mom. After all, it was her who paid the debt even though it wasn't her fault and reclaimed the house. Plus, SW's mom said that her husband gave the house to her. It's only the right thing for the grandma to make that house officially her DIL's. But she's so inhuman, I hate her. Doesn't even respect the wish of her late son. >.< Let's see maybe there will be an explanation in epi. 10.
Watched epi. 9 and I have a question: The property owner of the house Sun Woo's family lives in is the grandma of the kids. Sun Woo's mom could repay the debt of her MIL with the help of Taek's dad, but the house still belongs to the MIL, right? Or does it belong to Sun Woo's mom now?
If it's still the old lady's, she could do something like that again someday !
Awesome mystery drama with lots of twists and turns which kept me thinking & guessing. I really enjoyed watching this. There were some plot holes, but still the writing was good for the most part. I also find it refreshing that there was no romance in it. This drama tackled some topics which most kdramas don't, and for that it'll get a 9 from me. Not to mention they sent out some very important and good messages.
I really felt sorry for JS. She has gone through a horrible thing at such a young age and always felt a pressure on her after marrying into that household. She was in a very difficult situation and definitely mentally sick.
Aw, such a wonderful & warm neighborhood. Too bad that nowadays such great neighbors don't exist anymore. At least…
My mom tells me the same. She says back then the neighbors were all helpful and they were very close to each other and their kids too. Everyone knew each other well and they used to do things together. But there's no such thing today, unfortunately. It all died out over time. :-(
I guessed JS was the mother of HJ from the start so I wasn't surprised. But they did a good job with trying to confuse us by including JS's mom into the whole mess, I must admit. Still most of the clues pointed to JS being the mom. It makes a lot more sense this way.
I haven't watched parents more crazy & despicable than in this one so far in a drama. I don't want to believe that such cray cray parents could exist in RL..A lot of aggravating and crazy stuff happened. For the most part, it was still fun to watch though. It has a happy ending too.
I just wish it wasn't 52 episodes long. It took me one year to finish it..
With epi. 6, Sun Woo got officially eliminated from the husband candidate list. I felt bad for our Deok Sun. Her first love ended just like that without even properly starting lol. Poor her, she must've been so disappointed and shocked. One got eliminated, but a new one got added: Taek :D I'm thinking DS will end up with Jung Hwan though, as her future hubby resembles him a lot both in looks and character. He also was the only one who witnessed her rejection and knew about her postcards..He notices everything about her since he's always watching her closely in secret ("There's nothing I don't know about you").
It can't be Taek unless he's going to undergo a major character change over the years. I'm not saying that it is impossible though, just unlikely. My guess is that DS will start a relationship with Taek first, then will break up with him and lastly marry JH (who will be dating other girls before that). I already feel sorry for poor cute Taek-ie. It's going to hurt. :-(
As for Bora's future hubby, it could be SW (she mentioned a Jae Woo, their son? Sun Woo = Jae Woo? ) but it could also be Jung Bong. The genius and the idiot LOL. He seems to have a crush on her, and to my surprise she was very kind to him when he brought them juice during the tutoring session. Let's wait and see hehe :P
Jung Hwan's mom is such a great friend and so nice. I really like her. Despite her stern looks, she has a kind heart. She's always there when her friends are in need. :-)
Sun Woo's mom said she couldn't bear being together with a silent man (Taek's dad), but I think she should re-think that decision. Taek's family is well off and the dad seems to be a nice person. Both Taek & his dad wouldn't be so lonely anymore and their house would become more lively. Also, it'd be interesting if Taek and SW became step-siblings. A win-win situation for both households. :P
So many feels from epi. 1 alone wow. It looks like I will love this one just like I did the previous Reply series'. :-) I just wish the episode length was shorter..
So far I like all characters, but my fave is Sun Woo for now hehe. He's such a sweet boy. Love his relationship with his mom and lil sister. So touching.
Omo I knew Aghasshi was the serial killer! We saw him in the bus with the walnuts after all and he chased after SY as soon as she appeared in the village. I said it before that if he was really innocent, he wouldn't have done that to SY. My guess is that that lumber guy is/was his accomplice. There are 2 serial killers imo.
As for HJ's case, I really don't know. Maybe her & GY's dad is that Charmain Noh who prolly used to be a rapist in the past? That would make both girls half-siblings. And I believe JS is HJ's mom.
Also, yay for SW & Bora, they're so cute. He has finally managed to win her heart LOL :D
