I was expecting them to go for an open ending where everyone walks their own path.. But I honestly don't know what to make out of this ending :/ It didn't really satisfy me, felt rushed and was messy. Many questions left unanswered. The final bored me tbh with all the depressing vibes.
The good parts were Jung finally realizing his way of dealing with people was wrong, In Ha getting cut off Jung's family which hopefully lead to her standing on her own feet, In Ho's hand completely healing and him being accepted into music school, Baek siblings getting closer.
However, I didn't like how they handled the characters' developments. Especially Jung's. I'd have liked to see his development much earlier. This was too late, too sudden and just not enough which is a shame. Same goes for the relationships between the important characters. It wasn't explored and explained enough imo. The depth is missing. For example, I expected to see more Jung & Dad scenes and childhood parts to understand the character and the story more. But nah, no such thing happened. Moreover I thought we would see what really happened behind the whole hand incident. So Jung was the one who called the police after all since they didn't bother to show anything further to explain? They didn't make it clear. I'm disappointed. I’d have loved to see a bigger moment between In Ho and Jung. Like them talking it out or something. I didn't like how they just glossed over their convo like that. No apology from Jung either. But I found it realistic that they didn't become friends again. I didn't want them to either.
This drama started good but ended poorly. They could've wrapped it up much better imo. I think it would've been better if they waited some more until the web toon got finished, and then made a drama out of it. Maybe then it wouldn't have felt incomplete. Oh well. At least I got to know the actors SKJ and KGE through this drama and for that I'm thankful. Also, for the many cute Seol & In Ho moments which I enjoyed greatly. The OST was good too.
I wish Jung didn't do that with Sangchul. Yes, he's annoying and he stole the notes which is plain despicable,…
They were talking about Yoojung LOL XD Agreed.
Me too :( I wish it had more episodes. I surely will miss the drama. I'm planning to watch it, hopefully. The trailers looked good. I just hope that it doesn't have much politics because that bores me. Are you going to watch it?

Thanks, I respect yours too, chingu♥ And I also understand why you want to root for Jung. We feel drawn to different characters after all. It all comes down to tastes and how we interpret things. I'm not a fan, but I agree with you on that he's a different male lead. Somewhere I read this "You could write a whole book on understanding Jung" and I somewhat agree LOL. :D I can understand why you would see him as interesting. It's normal that we all have different views on things. It would be boring, if everyone thought the same way, right? ;) I enjoy reading different views and it's true that there are many ways to interpret things which makes it interesting and fun. ^^
# I was trying to think from the POV of people who think that the main story of the drama changed a lot or lost…
I don't think Jung's dad directly told the Baek siblings just to be friends with him to watch over him. They were very young when he first brought them in. So I doubt they would've even gotten what he meant, if he had told them. I'm thinking that he must've told it to In Ha when she grew up to watch him. And maybe In Ha told In Ho about it. But In Ho probably thought that couldn't be the reason why they were brought in. He most likely wasn't suspicious about him back then. I think he really thought they were liked by Jung family. In episode 13 he got sure that wasn't the case though. Jung's dad basically told him to put up with all their crap since he took them in. They were just being used. :(
That's how I saw it.
I wish Jung didn't do that with Sangchul. Yes, he's annoying and he stole the notes which is plain despicable,…
I was talking about Jung's revenge. I didn't say that In Ho punching Sang Chul was the right thing to do to teach him a lesson (what lesson when In Ho doesn't even know anything about the notes?). Btw, In Ho punched him because he saw him raising his hand at her at that very moment. It had nothing to do with him stealing Seol's notes. He didn't go out of his way and made sly plans to extract his revenge either..Sang Chul raised his hand at a girl, he got punched for it. Simple as that. No fakeness whatsoever. What should he have done instead in that very moment? Just watch? How else did you expect him to deal with a hugeass man like SC when he was about to hit the girl he loves in front of his eyes? Push him aside instead? Jump up and hold his arms? And that's any better how? It wouldn't have led to a fight either way? Really?
That being said, I also didn't say that Sang Chul should have been left alone after stealing the notes. I, as well, would've loved to see him get some sort of correction, but I'm not okay with it if it involves someone else's future. That's where I clearly draw the line. We don't even know if Sang Chul will learn anything from experiencing what happened in episode 14. No one can foresee that. Moreover Seol didn't harbor any malicious feelings toward him after the stealing incident. Ofc, she hated the fact that he stole her notes and got angry with him, but it didn't appear to me that she now really hated him and wanted to get back at him at all cost. After that she even helped him out in the bar. So, was it really necessary for Jung to go to such lengths to get back at him? To you it may have been, to me it wasn't.
I just don't agree with how Jung deals with people and his manipulative ways. That's my view.
I wish Jung didn't do that with Sangchul. Yes, he's annoying and he stole the notes which is plain despicable, but he didn't deserve such a "punishment". Playing with someone's future like that is not right. Jung is always going too far with his sly revenges imo. :/
From episode 14 's preview, I have a feeling that they will make In Ho go away for sometime :(
Same here. I don't want him to leave everything behind and go away just like that. NO! I want him to pass his GED, get a good job and keep playing his piano. I want him somehow to keep in touch with Seol's family since they give him family love that he yearns for so much (even though it'll be difficult given his love for Seol and hate for Jung). Oh, and also I want to hear Jung apologize to him for the terrible hand incident! His dad doing it for him is neither right nor enough.
Sorry for all the ones who hated this ep or the screen time for In Ho, but I LOVED it and every second of it!…
I enjoyed the episode very much as well even though I felt real bad for poor In Ho. :( I just want to give him a hug. He's so lonely and has no one he can turn to for support. It makes me a sad panda.
I also enjoy In Ho-Seol interaction a lot ! Their friendship is so endearing. ♥ They make me all teary-eyed.
In some scenes I find In Ha funny, but other than that I just dislike her. Especially when she steals hard-earned money from her brother to go buy clothes. It makes me slap her ! In Ho is way too nice and patient with her. Sister or not. I'd have told her to fuck off a long time ago.
Then there's Seol's dumb schoolmates which I equally dislike. They behave like a bunch of immature highschool bullies. Always acting fake around Seol and trying to use her. Just yuck. They're acting as if Seol had an obligation to give them the notes her BF gave ONLY her. It's not like they deserve her help anyway. So shameless.
Jung's dad is pretty unlikeable as well. He's a bad father to Jung and he just used the Baek siblings. He expected them to fix his shortcomings as a father in his stead. He has no love neither for his son nor for the Baek siblings. And poor In Ho thought he was liked by that man and saw him as a father figure. Now he sticks his nose into business he knows jack shit about. Just shut up please. Ugh. -_-
In this episode, I just felt bad for In Ho. He was just about to get his life in order, but then his past mistakes caught up to him. So unfortunate. He has no one to rely on. No place he belongs to. :( I hope he doesn't have to stop playing piano once again. Even if he doesn't end up with Seol, I just want him to get a happy end where he has a proper job and keeps playing piano. Also, to keep in touch with Seol's family somehow for the family love and bonding. At least give me that please.
where did that baseball bat come from?? i hope uri jungie doesnt have anything to do with what happened to baekinho!!!!…
According to dramabeans his dad was talking to his mom whom we never saw. I got confused too because of wrong subs. Their grandfather died after all, so it didn't make sense.
A decent human being don’t walk away on someone whos getting beaten up. That’s just not a normal behavior,…
I wholeheartedly agree with you guys. He really is a psycho who needs therapy ASAP. He can't be in a healthy relationship in this state. I just can't forgive what he did to In Ho. I couldn't even do that to my enemy if I saw them in such a situation. I can't just look away. In Ho was someone he was very close to. With one mistake (without talking it out), he forsakes him completely. I can't understand that kind of behaviour at all. It's just plain evil and heartless.
The whole sticking a stalker to Seol was nauseating enough for me and then this. If there's really not more to the whole story, then I won't be able to stomach Seol & Jung either. I just can't.
Woah episode 12 was really intense. In Ho getting beaten up in the past broke my heart T_T Destroying someone's dreams like that is like killing them. Poor In Ho. If Jung was really the one who called the cops and planned all of this/manipulated people, then he'll straight move to my hate list! My dislike will turn into hate. It was bad enough that he just stood there and watched In Ho getting beaten up. It made me really angry and disgusted! His emotionless and cold face was just scary. I think they will bring up the whole story in the final episodes, but still I would never ever forgive a "friend" who just stood there and watched when I desperately needed his help. That's just inhuman.
Nevertheless, it was sad to watch the friendship between In Ho and Jung come to this. Because it's obvious they liked each other so much. I believe the harsh words In Ho told that pianist guy were stemmed from his jealousy. He didn't want to share his beloved friend with anyone and this was his childish way of trying to keep that guy away from him. I doubt he was really thinking like that about Jung. All these misunderstandings are frustrating. :/
I wonder what's Jung's disease. Prof. Baek was treating him, I guess. But I think it was too much when his dad said that he can't survive without anyone's help. We see that he studies and works on his own just fine. I wonder if his dad is just exaggerating his son's situation or if there's more to it. Hmm.
The wait was worth it and I really enjoyed the new episode. :) It was awesome to see crazy In Ha exposing and…
Yepp, our girl can speak up now which is a great development. Only 4 episodes being left worries me too :( I wish it had more episodes. I hope they can wrap up everything neatly without any question marks left. This drama deserves a satisfying final.
Show, why did you have to let In Ho see the hug hetween Jung and Seol? My poor boy. Anyway, the subway moment…
IKR? I feel the same way about the Seol & In Ho bond. It's just so natural and easy going. Their moments are so so cute and fun :3 I smile like an idiot while watching them XD
I even loved the little scene of Seol putting In Ho's note in her pocket rather than throwing it away. Yes, I'm that crazily in love with In Ho and this couple lol :D

@CjRun: Thank you ;) @TurkishRose: You're right, Seol needs to talk more about her life with Jung and share her problems. Let him know what happens in her life. We know she's someone who prefers to keep negative things to herself, but she needs to involve her BF more in her life. In that aspect, Jung does a better job than her, I agree. They both have problems communicating with each other, that much is obvious. It's like there is a barrier between them which prevents them from getting closer.. Let's see if they will be able to overcome their issues and more importantly how :)
