plz tell me someone how it happend that future hubby changed personality all of a sudden?? i think the script…
Well people can change, no? Especially after 30 years..Tbh, we saw Taek changing slowly as the episodes went on. He became more assertive and even made fun of DS :D And it's just normal that after spending many years with your spouse that you'll adopt some of their ways. You'll be kinda similar to each other over the years. You can tell from the future hubby that DS influenced him :) When they were young, she even taught him bad words, remember? Now when I look back, I can definitely see Taek in future hubby. But anyways I didn't pay much attention to the future scenes, because they were throwing hints into various directions as usual. They love to troll. In R94 many people thought the silhouette of the groom looked like CB, but it was Trash in the end. This time the same: Many thought the hubby was behaving like JH, but it turned out to be Taek. I don't think they changed the script in both cases :)

Whoa I'm so so happy!!! This is the first time my ship has ever sailed! It's official, Taek is the husband, since…
Me too ! At first I was like "I'm okay with any guy she chooses, but it looks like the hubby will be JH." But then I started to fall more and more in love with Taek's character and DS & Taek as the drama went on. They were just too cute. In epi. 16 when he cried, I was so sad and thought he must really love her. Then the bridal style carry and kiss scene came and I was just fangirling like crazy :D Haha he won me over gradually just like he did with DS :) Now all the hints make sense to me. With JH & DS I didn't feel anything no matter how much I tried..

OMG I read spoilers that Taekie is the husband ! So very happy right now YAY ! :) It seems like DS fell in love with Taekie over time naturally. They spent a lot of time together after all. I believe the kiss was real as well..The bridal carry scene was her realization moment.
With SW and JH, it seemed like she crushed on them only because of what her friends said. She got over them quite quickly afterwards. Even if JH had confessed as a teen, I think their relationship wouldn't have lasted long and she would later still end up with Taek. Because I think their personalities match a lot more (he tells her what she wants to hear, together they have fun and smile all the time etc.) and they're just fated to be. He was the one who could make her heart throb on its own accord. She finally figured out whom she really loved. DR our adviser can be happy now lol :D
I hope all of the characters become happy in the end, and all of them get their deserved happy endings. :)

I'm #TeamTaek, but my heart hurt so much when I watched JH's 'joke confession'. That's because I like both guys. Oh JH, you literally chose your own fate with your actions just like you said yourself. Things could've been different, if you had confessed in your teens when DS was waiting for you. Taek even stepped back, but JH still hesitated..His personality, pride and fears were in the way. But of course, the drama isn't over yet. Anything can happen. ;-)
However, I think DS has fallen for Taek and I'm thinking it really started when he carried her. She saw him as a man there and started to feel an attraction. Before that she grumbled a lot about their cancelled date as well. It's possible that she developed feelings for him unconsciously over time while spending time together. This time naturally, without anyone's influence and on her own accord. And the hug was the 'dang' realization moment for her. Just my thoughts. Let's see what will happen in the last 2 episodes. It all depends on DS's heart now. ^^

Yea!!! Taek's dad is going to be in the new Woo Bin/ Suzy drama! you know that means he's awesome! He was good…
I realized he was one of the eunuchs in Empress Ki just recently when I re-watched a scene LOL. I totally forgot. He's such a versatile actor.

All the feels in epi. 17 T_T. This drama does such a great job at showing family & friendship bonds in such a touching and realistic manner. You can't help, but get emotional. Everything feels so real. I'll miss this drama like crazy !

Definitely not my cup of tea. I struggled to finish it. Way too many flashbacks of scenes we have seen several times before ! UGH, made me wanna puke honestly. If someone wanted me to describe this drama with one word, I'd say: FLASHBACK. It just bored me and the love story wasn't realistic. I won't even mention the many plot holes. I guess purely romance-based slow dramas in melo-style at that are really not for me. :/ Especially if they're far away from reality. They make me feel suffocated & feel bored. I didn't like the acting of KSR either. It was stiff.

Interesting start. I wonder what's the deal with Jung. Can't wait to see why he's acting so kind all of a sudden to Seol. Did he feel sorry for her after she thought about taking a break because of him and therefore decided to be nice? Did he come to love her while "bullying" her? Or maybe he knows her from way before, but she can't remember/doesn't know? Mysterious character, indeed. :) My fav character for now is Bora. She's a strong female who's not afraid to speak up her mind and is a great friend. Really like her :)

Omo the famous SG kiss LMAO XD With the table squeezing poor Man Ok haha I can't, that was one hilariously awkward kiss LOL :D JB also looked like the anime character Naruto with his orange/black jumpsuit hehe :P
The convo between Taek and his dad was too sweet. So emotional *sniff*. I'm very happy for SW's mom & Taek's dad. I wanted them to be together since the beginning. :)

This drama started really well, but towards the end it went downhill with the silly revenge plot. It lead to many plot holes and cringeworthy scenes.. It was so funny at the beginning, but then started to go in nonsense and melo direction starting from the middle which killed my enjoyment. I think it would‘ve been better, if they ended it after XX & LB got together (after that my interest decreased). Too many episodes for this kind of plot imo. However most of the characters were loveable and the main couple just too sweet, especially Xiao Xi (Pets Tseng is a great actress, her crying scenes were so real). The final kiss was too cute <3
I wish they would‘ve also shown what happened to the other characters in the final. Because they didn't, it kinda felt uncompleted..

The episodes are too long for me to be able to sit and pay attention. I'm sadly going to be dropping this drama…
Tbh, I dislike the episode lengths too. With subs it's hard for me to stay focused for a long time (I wish I knew korean), so I'm taking breaks here and there and finish the episodes like that.

I don't remember ever saying that I didn't visit the island. I haven't been there yes, but it isn't nice to just assume things about other people like that. Putting that aside, it just doesn't make sense to me that people would visit the place just because of this one drama, especially nowadays. I can't believe something without seeing it with my own eyes and experiencing it. I can't know if it's the truth or not. Yes, I'm a suspicious person like that. It may be one of their reasons but I can't imagine it being the SOLE reason for their visit. Just visiting because of some drama instead of the pretty scenery, many different activities, spending fun time with family & friends, vacation, cultural events etc. doesn't seem believable to me. Sorry. Paying a lot for just the sake of a drama which was filmed ages ago seems like a stretch to me. Btw, I DID look it up before and didn't simply just "assume", and yes I found out it ISN'T exclusive to this drama alone. (Thanks a lot for assuming things about me once again -_-) Many other dramas/movies were shot there before and after this drama because of the beautiful scenery especially in winter. I didn't know I had to visit the island to find out that simple fact. So no, I didn't say anything wrong or "strange" in that aspect. But this drama became the most popular among them thus this island attracted attention thanks to it. Hence it's their statues etc. you can see there. That's what I said. Maybe you got me wrong. I don't know you, so I can't know if you're talking from zero background or not. This is the internet anyone can say anything. It doesn't matter to me either way. I stand by what I said and I trust the info that I looked up -myself- . I don't want to argue with you about this anymore it's obviously getting personal and off-topic.

Well, to some viewers it does make a difference like me. I didn't claim otherwise. I know they are some good ones among the older dramas, but this isn't it for me. Can't put it in that category. Not all classics are good after all. There are good & bad ones. You like it, or not. It all depends on your tastes & expectations. With this I just wanted to get it over with. Didn't feel any connection at all and didn't enjoy it. Surely, it won't live on in "my" memory. Oh well. But I can understand your feelings as I feel the same way about the drama Goong. It has a very special place in my heart and it's a classic as well. Flaws and all, it touched my heart greatly and I think of it as legendary. Everyone's legends are different after all.
Yeah, it looks like we have clashing views on the matter. Still, I respect your opinion as well. Thanks for sharing yours too. ^^

I have to agree to disagree then. I happen to belong to the other kind of millions who didn't enjoy it. It took me about 5 months to finish it as I didn't find it interesting and very slow. Nothing special for me. And with that I mean there's nothing new or unique in it. Hence cliche. I've seen everything that happens in it in a lot of other dramas and movies a billionth time before, and not just in korean ones. This drama reminds me a lot of the plots of very old, classic movies from my own country.
About Nami Island, I think most tourists visit it because they liked the scenery shown in WS and passed from ear to ear, not because the drama was oh-so-good and "hard to forget". Also, I'd take a pic next to the statues too, I mean why not, but that doesn't mean I'm a big fan or came just because of WS..Just saying. The island isn't exclusive to WS either. It is shown in many other dramas and movies too, you know. Not just in WS. Saying foreigners visit the island just cos of WS is an exaggeration.
Anyway, I find the newer kdramas more fun and more interesting. There are tons of dramas nowadays which are far better than WS with unique plots & far less cliches. It's just my opinion. It's a given that everyone's tastes differ and that's totally okay. :) It may have been "special" to some, but for me it just wasn't. It didn't make me feel anything. Just a cliche drama I've watched and will forget the next day. Maybe I would've thought differently, if I had watched it in 2002, and if it had been one of my first kdramas, who knows. For me this isn't the start point, sorry. Far from it.

Person Lee Da Hae
I like her as an actress and try to follow her dramas, but I wish she didn't do so much plastic surgery as she didn't need it AT ALL ! In My Girl she was very, very pretty just stunning wow. But then in Hotel King I almost didn't recognize her. Such a shame. Too much PS just butchers the face more and more..
