The wait was worth it and I really enjoyed the new episode. :) It was awesome to see crazy In Ha exposing and slapping the stalker guy around LOL. He deserved it, but it looks like he still hasn't learnt his lesson. I think he's planning to do something bad to Seol and In Ho. >.<
I really felt bad for Seol when she confronted her parents about their favoritism. That must hurt a lot. I disliked her father when he told her that her life would be saved once she gets married. In an earlier episode he also said that it's useless for a girl to study. Just yuck. Hopefully he got better now after Seol told him her true feelings.
All the Seol & In Ho moments, especially the Oppa scenes, made my heart flutter and I laughed a lot at In Ho's expressions. :D Really love the way how his love is gradually developing. I'm very happy that Seol's family really loves him and they give him the family love that he misses so much as an orphan. <3 He also looked like their son-in-law during the family dinner scene LOL so cute :D
As for Jung, I get why he feels jealous and upset. He feels insecure when it comes to Baek In Ho. He feels like he stole away his dad and now his girlfriend. He hates being left out of things. Seol being more direct with him would help, but I also get her fears concerning him. She fears his reactions, I guess. They still have that communication problem between them.
I was so happy to watch Seol finally pwning that lazyass Sangchul. That felt so good. I can't stand that guy one bit. So damn annoying. Even his voice.
I started getting second-lead-syndrom in episode 4 and it gets bigger and bigger with each episode. Baek In Ho…
@Bongsookie: Good question XD We both can't help but fall for the 2nd lead in almost each drama :D There we were lucky, but here I'm not confident either. Yet I can't stop rooting for him. @Zah: Me too :3 InHo is such a cutie. I'm ready to sink with this ship :')
Ren not confronting his mom about what she did to Mu Cheng 6 years ago. Neither MC told him why she left him which…
Yeah I know, but I'd have preferred it if his mom or better MC told him about it. I hoped for a confrontation/convo about the matter. That's what I wanted to see. It felt like a let down after they built it up the whole time :/
I really like her acting in Rak Rae. It's natural and good. Also, she looks natural which is another plus for me. I'll try to follow her projects from now on :)
I totally get you. I too, dislike/rated low some dramas that others tend to like/rated high, or/and just can't see why it's so popular (like Bridal Mask, Heirs, Winter Sonata, Healer, Yongpal, Queen In Hyun's Man). That's pretty normal though as everyone's tastes & views are different. Thus I also don't see the point in picking fights over dramas. It's just childish. Not everyone has to like the drama that you like after all.
I watched all the Reply series, but this one still remains my favorite. I just really, really love the main couple and will always do so <3 I cried and laughed with these two so much. Didn't happen to me with the other couples in R97 & R88.
Did we ever find out who deok sun gave the candy to in the earlier eps? Whose bag was it? I guess it was Taeks…
Please rewatch the very end of episode 2. There you can clearly see whose bag she put the chocolate in. The video footage shows that DS looks at the bags (3 in total) and then puts the chocolate in the bag that's at the very right. Then JH comes and picks up his bag which is a black Nike one (in the middle), then DR picks his white one (in the left), and at the very last SW comes and picks his bag - the very one in which DS put her chocolate in before (the right one). After that there are no more bags lying around there. So she obviously put it in SW's - her crush at that time. Hope that cleared it up for you :)
Future DS most likely lied to save face in front of her husband hah.
About the final: Even though I would've preferred to see the wedding of DS & Taek, I still enjoyed the SW & Bora one (double wedding would've been amazing too :P). Her scenes with her dad and family were just so touching. <3 Same goes for JH and his family scenes. He's such a great son, brother and friend.
As for the hubby part, well JH summed it up pretty well: "Taek wanted DS more". Also DS being so afraid of ruining her friendship with Taek when she didn't have such fears concerning SW & JH speaks for itself. Nuff said. ;)
Finally watched the subbed episodes, and what can I say, I really loved and enjoyed watching this heartwarming, realistic, touching and fun drama. It gave us a lot of important life lessons and showed us the many different types of love in such a wonderful way. I cried and laughed while watching it.
The last scene was just heartbreaking. T_T I will miss our 5 friends, their families and their awesome neighborhood so freaking much. I wish the relationships between neighbors was just like this in this day and age..sigh. While watching this drama I felt like I was living with them hehe. The characters felt so real. Each of them was the lead of their own story and all of them were likeable. ♥
The cast was amazing too. Loved them all. They all acted so well. I especially liked Hyeri as DS. She's such a cheerful and cute girl both on- and off-screen. Only her crying scenes need some improvement, other than that she did great. <3
I wish there were more lovely and meaningful kdramas like this out there.
