Watching episode 1 now and thinking this show is so logically flawed. You can simply show a photo of a random…
I dont know if you're a believer of the spiritual stuff or not. But there was a part as soon as they showed the first lady's picture and someone made a remark "she's not of this world." How I see it, as someone who does believe, is that people who are alive, people who have passed away, and dieties all have different energies to them which can be read by these people. Which is why Shamans might be better with the dead or spirits from another relm vs Saju being better at reading energy around birth and Tarot fitting better for present energies and future alignments etc. although everything can be used fully by combining intuition.

nah, there are other supernatural series that dont get hate. but for this one, there seems to be a hyperactive acting from all the characters, the animated editing and random plot points coming in without any explanation. its not that easy to keep watching for me, I just hope I dont drop it :/

I'd love to see them in ofdo and traumatise the shit outta Boston.
I think the boredom mostly comes from the fact that we know they will not deviate from the fixed couples for the endgame. like even if 2 people from different pairings make out, we know the endgame is same and GMM isn't brave enough (because of toxic shippers) to shake that up.

I really wanted to like this because of all the hate it got but it should’ve been shorter (in my opinion). As…
the story goes deep into the queer experience especially in an asian cultural context. mi ae was a good friend during uni but that's all she was. how long will a straight married girl stick around with a gay man and his relationship problems when queer people themselves don't know what they're ultimately dating for in a country that doesn't let them get married? that's also a part of the reason why go yeong keeps talking about loneliness. the only scenes when he doesn't look lonely is with his own gay friends even if they all had their own struggles.

i watch bg, bl and gl...but the toxic comments here from the hardcore gl fans really open my eyes...
"harcore gl fans" are the problem for you? BL has always had it's limelight and maybe GMM didn't predict it but G4 grew too big to be a sife couple, it's the truth they would've overshadowed the GL couple which is the main plot of this series. There are other GL dramas with no BL sides, so why does GMM have to do this too? We are seated for a GL series with main and side GL couples, BL fans can watch the other thousand series that airs for them

Person Engfa Waraha
One of my seniors rarely ever posts about anyone. Until one day, girl was posting Englot videos. This was pre-MGI…
i feel like woody's interviews are always so meaningful because he has a way of making celebrities comfortable and speak more than just the superficial things. engfa's interview and ten's (wayv) interview are my top favorites!

a big shit. i'm glad my santa and taeseon got rid of this garbage, be strong hikaru and junwon in this terrible…
I feel so bad for Taeseon though, it was almost his last chance and he overcame so much trauma from the past abuse before he decided to come in the limelight again. I blame MBC if we don't see him anymore :((

If you have a Twitter account, I PLEASE BEG OF YOU, go through the hashtag #KSOULOUT !!
He's been really problematic before he came to Korea and some problematic moments have been caught on camera too, including him being fatphobic towards current fellow members and talking inappropriately to a minor member, saying "you have your own type of sexy" to a minor when he was clearly uncomfortable from a mature concept. Keeping him in the group will cause a downfall for the other 11 who have debuted because his problematic attitude won't be left behind. If any of your picks have made it to debut and you care that these members have a bright future in the group, please look at #KSOULOUT on Twitter and send an email to Pocketdol stating why keeping him in the group will be bad and mention that you won't monetarily support the activities of the group (buying albums, lightsticks, memberships and other future merch) if he still remains in the lineup.

The show was alright but right after 1-2 episodes, you could tell it was a show to debut the PoDol Studio trainees along with other members. Votings were never transparent and if you start liking some trainee at say episode 3, the show is aired almost 2-3 weeks after shooting was done and your votes don't matter because they would've already been eliminated :( The final lineup is also a mess, only a handful of the trainees out of the 12 are there for their talents, the rest got up there because of a pretty face. And they couldn't even be original and give the group a new name?? Went from sonyeon fantasy to fantasy boys, are we being real here?? I'm not keeping up with them, it's going to be a waste of time.

I don't usually like watching body swap type of BLs because it always ends up like a straight pairing with the label for BL slapped on it. This series however was perfect in this trope! GMM does justice to the body swapping genre in this series (honourable mention for Vice Versa too). Some of the serious discussions related to body swapping like being unfamiliar with the body, acceptance from people around, feeling of alienation between the self and body were discussed in both lighthearted comedy as well as deeply too.
The only part I dislike is the supposed "plot twist" because it was rushed through.

EarthMix fans will love this one too, since their chemistry was amazing!!

Title The Gifted Spoiler
This was such a huge disappointment for me, sadly. It was such a cool concept at first and I had high expectations…
The first season was still fine because it shows the reality of ambitious students. As teenagers, we feel ready to correct the world, we think we're going to be the new generation of change etc. and Pang probably felt those things too, until he failed. But the reality is adults always have control of the system, and we get sucked into it as we grow older, just like the teacher, Mr Pom, did.
The second season, however... yeah, I agree with you. The main difference between S1 and S2 was, S1 had an episode each for each student in the Gifted class so we sympathise with them at least a little bit. But S2 was all over the place.

Title Bed Friend
This is the most directionless show I've ever seen 🤣! The director has a hard time deciding what he wants to…
i wonder why the series has only 10 episodes. the book is more cohensive and moves from scene to scene, situation to situation in a more natural way and gives more insight into the charaters and their depths.
In western media, I usually like to read books >> watching adaptations but with Asian media, especially the last few BLs I've read, the drama adaptations after 2020 seems to take more effort to write nice, green flag characters than book authors doing the same for their BL novels. But for the first time in a long time, I enjoyed a novel for this one more than the series itself. The series gave us some character faces and good chemistry but other than that, if you want to feel more empathy and connect with the characters, the book is a good read.

Another bucketful of preposterous nonesense. Just get a reputable education and professional job.
good lord, some of the participants here are coming from other reputable jobs such as actors and singers. i get if you mean about the minors younger than 16-17, but just because you didn't achieve as much as them this young doesn't mean you need to be salty about it.

such a beautifully worded review <3 you really brought down to words the emotions of everyone who watched the show, from the pov of the people who enjoyed the story, the cinematography, the OSTs, the pairings, everyone!! i think it is one of the most beautiful things about this series too, it was able to connect so many people of different age groups with different tastes in such a sweet way

my final thoughts on this series.. was it groundbreaking ? no. was a it a good cute series to add to the collection…
i feel the misstep is less of a misstep and more of a lightheartedness. a lot of queer people, including myself, say we want realistic representation without overplaying on the homophobia (like, we know homophobia is real but there could be other struggles a couple could face), but a lot of us also wants the lighthearted romcom to laugh and cry to. MSP really checks the latter box because a lot of LGBTQ+ series wouldn't depict the first love in highschool as so successful. and tbh in real life it might not be, since we're still learning about ourselves and our emotions in a cishet-normative society, but it's cute to see not one pair of boys, but three, make it work :) i feel like if we don't watch it for heavy LGBT commentary or simply watch it with the expectation of highschool maturity, it's a sweet watch and a comforting rom-com.
