This just 17 minutes but I'm experiencing waves of emotions, from shock to excited, then sad and finally relief. I think if they make it 30 minutes, story plots will be better especially during Riku and his mom talk to each other, revealing relationship. I think excitement and nervousness could be add there. Also, can add some flashback at the early of the show, like when Keita confess to Riku, giving audiences some clue that they already in relationship because I'm clueless for a while that they already in relationship since the beginning. Overall, I think this show is good.
I'm assuming ep.7 last week as a transition for more balanced story plot. Ep. 8 this week make excitement return for the series. Hope the last two episodes will be great.
i think they will probably release it after some days/a week
Hopefully like that. I'm feel bizarre as never encounter any situation like this. If membership for entire series or only ep.1 with general availability, that's still common.
Did they set ep.3 just for member? So how I could complete this show? I thought that's their pattern, but I saw they didn't do that for previous series, just for uncut version, that's okay. Didn't feel necessary to become member just for 8 minutes single episode. Now I'm stuck unable to complete it. Maybe will move to on-hold until any other resource available.
I'm curious about high rating of this series as it's still in my plan to watch list. Quite hesitate to start as last time watch full fledge Thai BL series was TharnType, back to 2019. I'm still 20's back then, still high in energy and excitement to consume full fledge series. Now in 30's, feel partially retired. Haha! Will watch it later when ready. But first to thanks Thi Thirati (Tong) as I'm learn about this series through him.
Scrolling YT at 3.30 AM and found Be Mine, heard it... just so nostalgic. Already 7 years but still fresh in my mind. I think will just remain my profile pic. like this. Haha!
I think this series like a sandwich at convenience store, it's simple, light, fast and easy to consume. Perfect as an interlude show while waiting for next episode of the main series or as a "detox" if the main series just too intense or complicated. Pace of plots and storyline also good despite very short time frame, didn't feel "jumping" that create confusion and no unecessary scene too. Perfectly packed within compact space. There are no any plot twist or surprise, but that's the strength, just evoking calmness. Overall, it's good, proving that short series also can be done decently.
Ep. 7 is a sigh of relief for me. Bright and shine as their summer vacation, it's like myself joining them as well. Finally, there are episode that didn't have intense about works and more focus on their relationship, make me realize that this is still BL series.
Know about this series from IG which many says this series very underrated. I didn't know as not watch it yet. But when looking at my watchlist, there are only two series from Taiwan, both from History franchise, back to 2018 and 2019. That make me curious is that many Taiwanese series actually underrated or it's just for me only? Btw, I'm keen to watch this, finally third Taiwanese series after 7 years. Will give my review later.
I think should give "warning" here that this series unsuitable for sophisticated and high expectations viewers.
I'm also watching Thai's series from small studios, you know; with very amateur actors, production and storylines, I think this series show me (maybe) the Korean's version, but still not even comparable. If I could conclude in a sentence for this series: it's funny, confused and so sudden, all at the same time.
Well, as other viewers, I'm no longer care about storylines and plots, everything just look funny. They meet for the first time in an undesirable situation, then expect for a profesional interview session, yet become like very "domestic couple" in no time. Also in no time, Jaeyeon become most trusted person to Geonwoo. I thought Geonwoo is an arrogant and closed personality, but those characters seem melting faster than ice cube during hot sunny day.
But the funniest part is when Geonwoo got stabbed (don't know the motive), yet out of no time as well, he's just like suffered small wound or bruist. I mean, he got stabbled, not accidently cut his finger by knife while cooking! Like by using Handiplast, everything just fine. No doctor, no hospital. I'm utterly speechless, so confused but later feel funny as well. But... only to be found later on IG that Geonwoo faked his injury to pull Jaeyeon closer to him. I mean, I'm never encounter this kind of show which reference to other platform almost compulsary needs just to understand the storyline.
But whatever I'm say here, all in positive vibe. No hard critics. If this series around 20-30 minutes per episode, then I think will be better or at least decent. With just around 5-10 minutes and 6 episodes, I'm strunggling to understand "what's actually happened", need to make up my own stories in my imagination to bridging those scenes.
But on other side, I think, there are still potential especially for the casts. I think almost all of them are good looking, acting skill not bad, not stiff or awkward at least. I even think Chan Kyu able potrayed Jaeyeon's character with "wifeyable" gestures. But what they just need a good story. Even if they get supportive roles in other good series, already a good start for them.
Wish the best for them, hope they will get another opportunities to show and develop their talents.
I'm still can't move on from this series, like thinking about it everyday, sometimes smiling to myself. My social media timelines and feeds also didn't help much, just keep reminding me about them. I like the ideas there about to "pairing" other members of Big Four, mainly between Hotta and Nakasato but some prefer Morisaki and Nakasato. Well, I can go with any pairing, whoever left can be pair with Tsujitani 😂.
Although I'm remain cautiously optimistic, but looking at social media enggagement, I think they should seriously consider for S2 or at least spin-off.
This series stay more than a year in my "Plan to Watch" list, since 2024, around the same time (back then still airing) Sugar Dog Life. Just finish high rating series "School Trip: Joined a Group That I'm Not Close To", so I'm afraid this Perfect Propose will be just okay or at most, decent series. Already think I will just rating this series around 7.5 to 8.0, that's middle lower rating for my scale. So last night, in effort to make my "Plan to Watch" list shorter, finally pick up this series to be put in "Currently Watching" list and by today, I'm done. Suprisingly... it's good. Now questioning myself why not watch this series earlier. It's straight forward, easy to digest, not heavy and I think problems there related with many people in reality (including me). This series might not gain higher rating due to simplicity and short story, but that characteristics also make this series easy to rewatch. I'm really appreaciate it and suitable with my preference nowadays. With overall rating now at 7.7, for me it's a bit underrated. I think should at least 8.0. As for myself, I give it 9.0, middle upper of my scale.
ABOUT 2ND SEASONI'm cautiously optimistic. Glad to have but some say, there are "curse" of sequel or 2nd…
I think there are optional enhancement could be made especially the scene when Ryoto (Morisaki's brother) teasing Hioki by pretending to kidnap him. Hioki expression and reaction, while panic already there, I think if he's really cry or begging for his life, make the scene much more realistic. I mean, in reality, people will either fight (I didn't expect Hioki to do that) or begging for their life. Then, when he sense there are no more hope, then ask to call his family. That will make him look more vulnerable and fragile rather than accepted his fate being kinapped and has his life ended by the villain. As a result, maybe much dramatic scene for Watarai as well. But of course, I'm understand they got limited airing time so those kind of elaborate scene might be difficult to be fit in the time frame.
REVIEWFinally, I'm done. Just accidently know this series last Thursday, simply could finish it in a day, but…
ABOUT 2ND SEASON I'm cautiously optimistic. Glad to have but some say, there are "curse" of sequel or 2nd season. I think, they have reasons as for myself, never watch if available, 2nd or sequel season of any series, except Cosmetic Playlover (that also with "average" 2nd season but I'm still okay as of ep.5 now). As this School Trip already set the high bar, will be challenging for themselves to meet same or even higher expectations.
My opinion, in any series, that's because storylines of every efforts to start and build relationship, puzzle and denial of feelings, curiousity between characters, panic of revelations, and finally "officially together" already done on the 1st season. Thus, they may hard to find or get good storylines for the sequel. Either will be too plain or too heavy with conflicts.
But I see there are some potential storylines for 2nd season. I saw suggestion 2nd season for their university time. That's reasonable and maybe... for their "first time". I mean, that could be more proper timing, right? Haha!
As I was informed, this series based on the novel. If there are stories in the novel that still didn't cover in the series, significant and good enough for 2nd season, that's all right. If not, then suggestion for their university time just good. Aside that, they may insert about relationship or love stories of other members of "Big Four", kinda spin-off like that. Well, I'm not a fan of this path because for me, for any series, the main pair always the main face of the series, regardless of season. But as an insert or side story, could give exception as I feel there are potential for other members. If not, why they are called "Big Four", right?
I'm more than glad and happy to watch it especially if they "strike it well" with excellent storylines. Really hope if there are 2nd season, they will, with full of miracle, able not to entagled with 2nd season "curse".
Sorry for long writing, but that's mean, I'm feel so good with this series.
REVIEW Finally, I'm done. Just accidently know this series last Thursday, simply could finish it in a day, but when I enter 'reserve' mood, that's meaning the series just so good for me, don't want it finish so fast. I should thanks YT feeds and Kodai (Hioki) face in the preview, basically many series I watched, many due to attraction from the "submissive character" of the series (I don't know why! 😂)
Just budle my review together here with After Story episodes (I'm consider as ep. 11 and 12). This is the first series that I rate before I'm done watch it, since ep.7. Gladly, feel no need to alter my 10/10 ratings. The series in line with my taste right now. Storylines are simple but interesting, that's really good for casual show and audiences. Simply could watch it over and over again without feeling "heavy". It's fresh, airy, light, bright, conflictless, overly cute and specific for this series, slow burning sensation of love. I think this is the first series I'm feel like that. There are some emotional scenes but it's okay and understandable.
My favourite part when they kissing, I like to see Hioki's Adam's apple moving up and down. I'm sorry for that, know it's weird but couldn't help myself 🙏
Couldn't agree more with other users by giving high rate for this series. The OST (opening and closing) also good, worth to be in my playlist. Kudos to all parties involved in this series.
Ohh... just visit here again after many years. Watch it when it still with "airing" status. So nostalgic. Already 9 years ago. It's my 1st series and the only 2 Moons that I recognized.
Accidently found this on YT feeds, barely look at the preview, somehow just watch it, look if I will like it, and... the rest is history. 1st ep already make my feelings overwelmed. Although still ongoing with ep.3, I can see 5 stars rating from me, save there are same overly cuteness, brightness and lightness as ep 1 to 3. Look at overall rating 8.7 from other users, I think this drama deserve it, or even higher.
I just realized that Toru actually Tanaka Koki which I know him from Sugar Dog Life as Isumi! I'm unable to recognize it until look at the cast list here.
Ep. 1 quite good, I like free conflict episode or even the whole series 😆. But deep in my heart, hoping there are still cutie clumsy Harukawa in this season 2. But it seems not like that so... I will miss him and that may affect my rating for this season a bit.
Didn't feel necessary to become member just for 8 minutes single episode. Now I'm stuck unable to complete it. Maybe will move to on-hold until any other resource available.
