Already a year since last time watch series (but years for Thai series). Assume retired but found the actor TK promoting this series on the streets, so I will make an exception exit for a while from my retirement. Haha! But the official platform available for me just their studio's YT channel which complete with English subs but still up until ep. 1 only right now.
After 2-3 years of hiatus, I think already retired from watching bl series. But this series make me come back. As a simple, easy, conflictless and adorable series, ticks all the boxes of my criteria. Could become my series of the year. As a straight foward storyline, series version lighter than manga version which is hotter and badass, may didn't suitable for sophisticated audiences but really going well with easy going viewers or as a light entertainment.
As mentioned, it's 10/10 from me and hope the series will reach at least 8.0 for overall rating. It's my first JBL series although second to completed. Now need to figure out which series need to watch next. Found some series I think with the same vibes as Sugar Dog. Just need to balance it with my assignments. Hope you guys enjoy watching the series and give it high ratings.
Although I know I will rate this series 10/10, but will wait until final episode done so can feel "properly assessing" the series. Hope could see it reach at least 8.0 later.
I could not stressed enough how I like this show. Even just raw episode, able to make me giggling, much meaningful after a very stressful day. Hope subtitles will available soon.
This is your first completed JBL because you tried a couple and didn't finish or you are not a fan of JBL? Anyways,…
I will try to look on those series. While Cherry Magic already in my plan to watch list but looking to have proper time to watch it. Thanks for your suggestion.
Still looking for ep.6 with substitles. Only watched raw episode, barely understand but visual pleasing as usual as Sugar Dog's previous episodes. How I'm hoping to understand Japanese (same feeling hoping to understand Thai when watch their series) while even for English, still a lot to improve. Haha!

Yes, first completed JBL. The 1st one is Sugar Dog but still ongoing. Previously more to Thai series. But as I'm getting older, looking for straight foward, conflictless and easy to watch show, thus expanding my search to Japanese and Korean series. For the couple, I'm okay... Can give 4/5. Maybe their characters are cold hearted and stubborn, I even imagine there are another extra character that able to talk to them directly, figure out about their attitude especially to Mamiya. But as themselves, I'm happy they appears a lot on my social media, give likes and following them. Haha!
Watch this while waiting for next episode of Sugar Dog Life. Rare to do so as there are tendency to direct comparing to each other. As Sugar Dog Life almost free of conflict (as of ep.5), I'm glad Cosmetic Playover not that too heavy in conflicts. The most for me just between Mamiya and Kakizaki. Also glad every conflict solved in time, not dragged unnecessarily and later hastily to solve it on final episode.
But my biggest hope for extra episode like spin-off for Harukawa. I'm even feel pity when he leave after Sahashi arrived at the festival. He's so nice and hoping for better story for him. Somehow feel most pleased character in the series. They also make a good selection of actor for Harukawa's character.
As for 1st completed Japanese bl series for me, it's nice. Theme also something that unusual for me (male BA) which give new perspective on that career to me. Adding more like romantic scenes can be helpful to enhance their chemistry and togetherness as main characters (Sahashi and Mamiya) are basically cold hearted and stubborn respectively.
Overall, if you just want something to watch or favour for easy and simple show like me, it's a good show.
My 1st bl series from Korea. Knows this series 2-3 years ago but stuck at ep. 3-4 then forgot to continue. Now able to completed the show, I think maybe extra 1-2 episodes can make this series better. For me, acting quality is the best. There are movie version which I think better form of the show as each episode just around 10-15 minutes but I'm unable to find it. Otherwise, maybe already able to complete the show years ago. As a simple, light and interlude show, this series is good.
I see rating up a bit after ep. 7. Found many good comments too. Should I just watch start from ep. 7? Haha! I'm never do like that with any other series. Plus I heard only start from ep. 7 KlaNo scenes become prominent than previous 6 episodes. Maybe will wait until the end of the series. Look how next 6 episodes will go.
Finally ep 6 is bringing things back on track and how we were left back in S1 , Ae is no longer on full on break…
Reading your comment about KlaNo make me think "did the only chance for me to start watching this S2 already diminish?". I'm reading comments here searching for KlaNo's highlights.
Aside from several casts like Kim, Cop and Bas, I didn't have clue about other casts and this series as it's not base from any novel. I'm still looking if I will watch this series later. Look promising.
I think almost everybody here is an international fan. We're in the same page. My feeling was so heavy today.…
I'm encouraging fans to keep using diplomatic language with production team. Also hope production team really put meaningful meaning in their statement.
The production crew is acting like they can't figure out how to share the special episode with international viewers…
I think almost everybody here is an international fan. We're in the same page. My feeling was so heavy today. It's normal to be upset but not to lost our rationality. I think uncertainty is the root of problem. Boxset seems like have same uncertainty like S2. Rare to heard anything about that. Unnecessary written or pictural spoilers of today's episode just worsen the situation, make some fans losing their temper. However, I believe fans need to keep good relationship with production team in order not to diminishing any good possibility like free or payable Special EP, boxset or even confirmation of S2.
I was impatient so read spoilers on Twitter and now I'm more impatient!Wanting and not wanting someone to post…
I even think my life today is better without those spoilers. Yeah... better they say something about the setbox. Also divided about this, sad as many can't watch it. But also think it's good as we got so many leakage of views from ep 1-12 to illegal platforms.
