I’m not sure but since this is fantasy genre, maybe the Master intentionally made them not fully remember the 1995 Eun Gyeol, they thought he looked familiar but that’s it (apart from Yi Chan who remembers his son).
Or it could be as others are say that since it was 28 years ago, you may not remember someone you knew just for a couple months.
The storyline is interesting but it was too slow placed, I watched most of the episodes on 1.5/2x speed.
It was predictable who the murderer was from the beginning as he gave a mysterious and suspicious vibe. When a character is this mysterious, they’re always hiding something. I’ve been fooled many times from other dramas but not this time.
Someone in the comments said Yoo Yang Gi died in the prisoners bus? I certainly hope not, death is too easy, he should serve his time.
I don’t know how I feel abo it Yoo Beom Jin’s death. There probably isn’t definitive evidence that he killed Su A and Tae Ra, so killing him was not a terrible choice to stop him from committing more crimes. But I prefer when the criminal serves time, I think he got away too easy.
One thing I don’t understand is that why is Jun Oh still part of the drama when he only has a month to live? Kdramas take months to film and they haven’t started filming yet.
And what’s up with the detective who looks at the CCTV secretly?
It’s nice to know the backstory but there’s a bit too much history for my liking :/
I think I’ll have to watch this again after all the episodes have aired, I couldn’t remember what happened in ep 1&2. This is a drama that should binge watched.

Since it’s just 2 more eps why don’t you finish it off? I didn’t like eps 13-15 but 16 was good. But yeah I’m still waiting for it to be about Da Mi again. People can change but they still deserve to be punished for what they did.
There were moments I wanted to yell that YC should believe that his is EG father...And I was hoping he would know…
But 2023 Yi Chan does remember Eun Gyeol from the past. He’s a bit surprised and curious seeing his old cassette tape and when watching Eun Gyeol perform he does a face of realisation and then smiles. A face that says “so Eun Gyeol from 1995 was my son after all” ☺️✨
One thing I’m curious about - they were friends with Eun Yu but Se Kyeong was in the US. I wonder if between 1995-2023 Yi Chan, Cheong Ah or the band members came across her. She must’ve been confused if they asked her about being the photographer of Watermelon Sugar or about liking Eun Gyeol 😂
Wow I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I do. Initially I wasn’t going to watch it because of the name and I don’t really care for bands, but I’m so glad I did. These days I prefer action and thrillers but I really enjoyed watching this. It has a vibe of its own, different from dramas I’ve seen before. A perfect mix of youth, friendship and comedy.
The ending is great, Eun Gyeol isn’t burdened anymore and his parents are very happy, they deserve it all. I was surprised that Yi Chan remembered Eun Gyeol from the past but it’s a good thing, he remembers all the things his son did for him ☺️.
Some things I would’ve liked to be included:
- Eun Gyeol’s parents and brother meeting Eun Yu, and the band members meet her too. - Cheong Ah finding out Yi Chan is now deaf. - What happened to Cheong Ah’s mum? - How did Eun Yu know the master is her grandfather? How did he become the master? - Eun Yu’s family, Choi Se Kyeong. - A little into their 2023 daily lives.
