The slap scene was so good, I kept replaying it 😂😂

I agree so much and I love it. But there’s one thing, they need to slap some sense into Seo Jung Wook, after 20 years and he’s still blabbering about his leg injury and blaming his brother. It’s like he has nothing else to do.

I feel like I’m the only one who watched and enjoyed S3 😭

These are all the other things I remember:

Background - Matthew is very rich and has a social media company (TIKITAKA) to spy on people (specifically the 7), he has access to great technology including DeepFake.

- After KKT found out about Matthew he attempted to kill KKT by brutally torturing him by hitting and using acid. KKT’s ex-men (now K’s men) torture him again and dump him in a river. He survived though, he floated to the island where LHS is and in the last ep they both come to save MDH who was shot on a rooftop with bombs (final ending scene).
- Before that the 7 were kidnapped to the building and were hallucinating again like on the island. Matthew on the rooftop threatens them and all leave by helicopter abandoning MDH.
- Before being threatened HMN and YJM were on MDH’s side for a bit.
- YJM because Matthew was trying to get rid of the woman he liked (No Paeng Hee) and her child (which is actually Matthew’s and HMN’s child)
- HMN because she found out Matthew is K
- NPH died. She sacrificed herself for her daughter (Han Na) to get rid of K but he lived and she didn’t
- She left Han Na in HMN’s care but she ran away and is with a grandma who she met before, but she’s actually her real grandma (HNM’s mum)
- There was a girl called Song Ji Ah. She was part of HMN’s group in school and was forced to bully Da Mi. But she is good now and regrets what she did. She is still with HMN because otherwise she can’t start her singing career. SJA was in juvie when she was younger due to taking the blame of killing her abusive father (Michell/Jisun killed him).
- SJA and HMN don’t get along and argue. So SJA tells Chairman Shim about the child but he doesn’t believe her and K kills her making it look like a suicide. Idk how they met but Matthew and SJA used to message each other (he was pretending to be a fan I think)
- Her sister Michell is a famous director who comes back from the US to get revenge but what she doesn’t know is that she’s been working with the murderer all along and finds out in the last ep. Matthew invited her and she came back to direct a film which is about Da Mi and HMN is playing herself (the bully).
- Basically before they find out he’s K, he threatened them (as he knows their secrets) to do things to bring down Sungchan Group, including framing MDH for a murder and the police are after him from that point on.
- Chairman Shim dies in the last ep at a press conference, just after revealing everything about MDH and Matthew. He has heart problems and was previously shot by Matthew
- Matthew also forced his real father to suicide (on the island were KKT and LHS were meant to die with him)
- Chairman Bang’s money (I think $10 billion) was for Da Mi, but since she’s dead, the money is now for her revenge. Matthew and some of the others find out about it but fail to steal it. In the last ep they leave on the helicopter and are going to get the money. The money all this time is guarded by Chairman Bang’s secretary

Basically K is a psycho and does whatever his head tells him. And we thought we were seeing Da Mi’s revenge but after the K reveal, everything from ep 5-12 felt like a waste. Matthew was a bit suspicious though but we kinda brushed it off so the reveal was shocking to everyone. Hopefully next season we’ll see her revenge 🥺

So they were all under the influence of drugs when took to the island, this was set up by Matthew Lee (but they don’t know that). And on his team he has Min Do Hyuk and Kang Ki Tak. So Matthew was “Lee Hwi So” who did plastic surgery to take revenge for his daughter. And the others find out much later on that he’s LHS. In ep 12, KKT is suspicious of Matthew, in ep 13 we find out that he is not LHS but he is K!! I don’t know if you remember but K is the man that got Han Mo Ne pregnant. So Matthew was meant to be LHS but K who was working as a prison guard overheard it and he switched with LHS in the operating room, so it was him undergoing surgery and not LHS. Basically K did plastic surgery to look like a 40 y/o and to get Chairman Bang’s money. He also killed Chairman Bang. K is also the son of Sungchan group, a wealthy company. But turns out K is not the biological son, he was switched when they were newborns by his father (Chairman Shim’s secretary) but it was only meant to be a temporary switch but he never switched them back. So his son was raised by Chairman Shim by the name Shim Jun Seok. The real heir is Min Do Hyuk, they got rid of him and he was adopted by a good family. For 16 years Chairman Shim and his wife didn’t know that K wasn’t his actual son and they find out and they sort push him away, especially Chairman Shim. So K gets angry and kills the wife and he’s supposed to be on a deserted island as punishment, but he’s being Matthew and LHS is on the island. Now psycho K is out to get Min Do Hyuk for being the real heir, when MDH is just clueless. And also MDH trusts Matthew the most which is so sad. Eventually they all find out that Matthew is K and MDH finds out about being the heir too. I forgot to mention but K killed Da Mi, because she knew about the baby. And Geum Ra Hee is in a on/off relationship with her daughter’s murderer 🤮.

So atm it’s not even about Da Mi, it’s Matthew X MDH.

Nope, hopefully next season we’ll get Da Mi’s revenge. A MAJOR plot twist happened in ep 13 though. Do you want me to spoil the drama for you?

Waiting 4 months is too long for me, I need to see Min Do Hyuk’s ultimate revenge era 😭

Yeah I like revenge dramas. That drama sounds interesting and I know majority of the current cast members. Thank you for the recommendation, I will add it to my list and watch the trailers when they come out :)

But can I ask, is ONE set in an all boys school like this one?

As chaotic and crazy as this was, I’ll actually miss this drama. Apart from the K reveal, I pretty much enjoyed the rest of it.

I knew KKT would be alive and I’m happy. But seriously a severely injured body floated all the way from Korea to a Vietnamese island…

Do you think Chairman Sim is actually dead? Or is there a possibility that he’s hiding because we never saw his body.

Min Do Hyuk and Lee Hwi So better get a happy ending at the end of this, they deserve it. I just hope MDH doesn’t end up like Shim Su Ryeon and I hope LHS doesn’t die (but I have a feeling it’ll happen). Waiting for MDH x LHS x KKT!

I watched this a while ago but idk I wasn’t really feeling it? It was a bit boring, I’ll still give #2 ago since it’s only 4 eps.

This one will be different as both died, whereas the Jang Mu Jin lived and has descendants. But you’re right there could be a different reason why HRT did that. I was just making a theory based on the information we have right now, once we find out more, the reason will be clearer :)

I haven’t read the webtoon but I was thinking maybe she killed him because his adoptive father is after both of them? He could’ve planned to torture them but she gave Do Ha an easier death and then kills herself too, anyway that’s just my theory for now :)

Finally all the episodes are out! I have just finished watching ep 12 and I’m going to watch it all again before deciding what I think of this drama, as it’s been too long

Yeah I don’t want the romance either and we probably won’t be satisfied with the revenge until the very end of S2, so that’s a long way.

I was surprised to see we got 2 eps this week. The boat scene was so funny 😂 and the candyfloss scene was cute.

I’m so curious about Bo Gyeom and Ji Ah’s characters. And were they lovers in the josen era?

And the next episode looks really interesting.
