Look forward to this show soon but I am reading that FL doesn't do kiss scenes. Why not? Is she just shy or doesn't…
I read somewhere that the female lead didn’t have any kissing scenes simply because there wasn’t an opportunity — the dramas she was in either didn’t include that kind of scene or it wasn’t relevant to the story. It wasn’t because she didn’t want to. In fact, I think the trailer suggests that they do kiss
I'm enjoying this drama — it's light and fun. Nothing grand or overly elaborate, but it's great for passing the time and having a bit of fun. That said:
I know who the main couple is supposed to be, but so far — in these mere four episodes and the teasers — I actually prefer the protagonist with Song. Maybe it's because I found Lu Chang quite cowardly when it comes to his own feelings, and I didn’t like the way he brushed her off. Maybe it’s also because I’m not that young anymore and I don’t accept certain things so easily — but that’s just my personal opinion. Aaah, maybe I’m being influenced — I do like the 2ML. 😅
This is what I understood from the first episode: Shen Jiang Li marries Lu Jing Ming, the second young master of the powerful Lu family. United by genuine feelings, their marriage is consummated, but their happiness is short-lived: a war breaks out, and Lu Jing Ming heads to the battlefield.
During his absence, Shen Jiang Li is falsely accused by his family and ends up imprisoned in the ancestral hall, despite being pregnant. Unaware of her pregnancy, Lu Jing Ming returns and does nothing to help her.
Now, years later, Shen Jiang Li returns to the Lu Mansion determined to protect her child, whose existence remains a secret. To save the boy’s life, she is forced to cooperate with Lu Jing Ming and help him rise to power — in return, he must give her a rare pill, which appears to be the only cure for the child.
Did you guys also notice when her father went from being the good guy to the villain? The look on his face when he lit the incense... Wow! That transition was incredible!
Is this drama available anywhere else? WeTV still hasn’t released episode 4, and Viki takes forever. I much prefer iQIYI and Youku—I I’m happy to pay for those services.
OMG, I've been waiting for this drama for so long! Does it start today? I don't see it in the site's post about 'dramas starting this week'; I was checking there... Does 'Si Jin' end this week? It's not on the list either
I haven't watched today's episodes yet, but I don't understand why the FL insists on marrying him, especially after what happened in the past life. I'd want to stay away from him, especially since she's seeing that the witch still wants to marry the ML in this life. She's so empowered when it comes to helping the other women with their divorce, but she can't distance herself from the ML who killed her in the past life.
Can you feel my frustration? Those two princesses should have died already, but I understand that he was only recently declared prince, which makes me think things are moving too fast. He just became a prince, and they already want to marry him off. I'm also finding him quite weak and lacking attitude. I saw in a comment that the emperor will try to marry the witch princess to him. If he accepts, I'm done with this drama because I've seen other dramas where the prince said he wouldn't marry anyone but his true love, and I expect the same from him.
That's it, I'm going to watch today's episode. I'm really enjoying the romantic scenes they have.
I'm on ep. 6 and could not get pass the super innocent behaviour of the FL. Her being gaslighted and not fighting…
I totally understand you! I've already gone through this phase a few years ago, and those scenes irritated me. But it's totally worth waiting for her to 'break free' because after that, this drama becomes so sweet and heartwarming. You can feel that all this darkness was destined to receive a beautiful and gentle light. So, it was definitely worth it
2025 has barely begun, and I can already say that this drama is my favorite and will always have a special place in my heart. I finished it yesterday and felt very emotional (tears were falling without me noticing), so I wanted to wait before writing something... It truly feels like a romance of healing, learning, and the peace of a gentle love. It was moving to follow the beautiful story of He Su Ye and Shen Xi Fan; the messages at the end were the perfect finishing touch. And let's not even talk about the post-credit scenes that warmed my heart. Just watch it, everyone! Wishing you all a gentle love. ❤️

Yes, he receives the title of prince.
I noticed that when he shot the arrow, he didn't expect it to be her.
