This series was so delightful to watch, it fills your heart, and many times I was reminded of my hometown. I cried a few times... Besides the laughter, there are also emotional and sad episodes (get your tissues ready for episode 7). The ending is very happy, and the post-credits scene, don't miss it and finish with a warm heart.
i'm very confused by the airing schedule tbh, has wetv posted any like official schedule or anything ?
I'm also confused, first they started posting one episode per day and today they posted three episodes. Should I expect three for tomorrow or be disappointed with just one? I really wish there was a schedule
For those in the future who are unsure about watching... Watch it, this drama is wonderful, the cast is incredible, and you will see the personal growth of each character. In the end, you will feel proud of how the family stays united and that being kind is worthwhile. The ending is happy, but it's not rushed; it's almost like an episode showing everyone's happy ending. Watch it.
The emperor deserves this death. The 6th prince will be a great emperor.I'm sad for Rong, she was a good girl,…
Showing how much Madame Xia has evolved since episode 1 is impressive!! All the women untangled the beliefs that had been tied to them since birth and became strong, independent women. It was beautiful to see <3
From episodes 35 to 39, I didn't think it was bad, but I found it weak; I expected more...I think HZ's niece's death was so unnecessary; they could have conveyed the weight of the situation differently. I liked seeing how other merchants and people helped her when she needed it. I found the time they spent building the dam very weak; there was too much drama surrounding it for it to end that way and then jump to another drama. The other niece becoming a widow, she was really clever. In the last episode, I liked that they reserved at least 25 minutes for the conclusion. I liked and got emotional with GX meeting HZ's grandfather, and also the family reunion, and then showing how the women grew up and became independent.
After that farewell in episode 5, I imagined he would die, and that would be what made her return to the town. There were only a few episodes with him, but he will be missed. And from the teaser of episode 7, we know we're going to cry rivers.
Seriously, guys, watching one episode per day is killing me!!! Haha This drama is so good to watch that I would watch all the episodes in a single day!!
I'm excited to see what the future holds for Gu Yan Xi and Hua, and what will happen for them to be together. Will the Emperor die? Does the Emperor have another heir?
I'm glad to see Shen Huan's growth; his character has developed very well from a spoiled child to a hardworking young man. I hope Shen Qi has a great ending, with someone who truly loves him. Lu Yu Xiao is proving to be a great actress; I hope she wins some awards for her performance in this drama.
I wonder if I should keep watching this drama. I'm on episode 29. I feel like the protagonists like each other and I sense their chemistry, but it's not developing. It seems like he's willing to give up everything for a love that wasn't exactly reciprocated. And she says she wants revenge, but when she has the opportunity, she saves the person and puts everyone at risk, and he has to fix everything. I expected her to be more active on the battlefield, and that didn't happen (this would be a good factor for me to continue the drama if questions). I understand now that she's a strategist. There are still many episodes left, and I'm unsure if everything shown at the beginning will come to fruition or if there will be this constant uncertainty.
Gu Yanxi is very wishy washy with HZ though. He head not promised her anything. I don’t like his character that…
I think he's afraid something might happen to her. I also wish he were more proactive in the relationship and took a step forward, but you see the uncertainties surrounding him. Remember that his uncle is not very trustworthy, and he has to act thinking two steps ahead, or his uncle will harm her in some way. He's the head of the security department, and many people resent him and believe he administers justice as it suits him or as a lackey of the emperor. I think it makes sense for him to be like this, but I believe it will change in the upcoming episodes when he realizes he could lose her.
I'm on ep 22. Can someone explain to me why Prince Ling was upset when he saw the pastries from the eunuch? Thanks!…
He thought the sweets were poisoned since they came from the palace eunuchs. He asked the eunuch to taste them first, but since nothing happened to him and they said it was the son who sent them, in the end, he ate the sweet.
In the last episode, I liked that they reserved at least 25 minutes for the conclusion. I liked and got emotional with GX meeting HZ's grandfather, and also the family reunion, and then showing how the women grew up and became independent.
Is the heroine annoying and useless?
Is there romance?
