Based on Kenichi Kawakami's novel. 8-year old boy, Shinpei, who loves fishing and painting, lives with his beautiful mother, surrounded by nature. His mother, Satsuki, has a weak constitution and lost her husband years ago. She takes care of her son lovingly but sometimes strictly, on her own. Shinpei's childhood sweetheart, Sayuri, is deaf, but somehow they can understand each other and they always spend time together.
One day, big news comes to their town: Shinpei's picture received the Grand Prize in a Children's Pictures Exhibition in Paris. On the night that Sayuri's father, Takakura, holds a celebration party for Shinpei, Satsuki leaves her son in Takakura's care and goes out of the house. Nakamachi Asuka is 30 years old and single. She achieved her dream of working as a teacher by teaching at a high school. Due to a case, she is unable to continue her teaching position. She suddenly begins work at a dormitory where 7 members of an unpopular boy group live. Her job is to do pretty much everything for the group, including cooking and cleaning. There, Nakamachi Asuka also meets her former student Sagami Dan. He is now the leader of the boy band. Even though the boy band hasn't found any success, Sagami Dan is devoted to the group and his role as the group's leader. While watching him, Nakamachi Asuka regains the passion she had as a teacher, and she faces the frustration she holds.

The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal, Tai Jing's voice was hurting. However, the new member, Mei Nan, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Gao Mei Nu a nun-in-training who has to pose as her twin brother and take his place in the group and to stand in for him. The two of them grew up in an orphanage and Mei Nu, who was all set to become a nun, agreed to this charade as she didn't want to spoil her brother's chance of fame which would make it easier to look for their mother.

Once she agrees, something bigger than a love triangle starts to evolve, along with other people intertwined to this story.
