Both dramas are similar for their cheating aspect, both FL's are not satisfied with the relationship they have with their husband, thus, looking or accidentally looked at another man that appreciates their value more as a woman. They did not find the "other" man, they just happened to be in the right situation at the right time, and the "other" man caught their attention. The difference is that H has a sad ending, but OTWTTA has a happy ending, though not seen, just implied. And another thing, H is kinda steamy, but OTWTTA is more conservative, I don't know how they did it, but it came out nicely and sweet. H is also sweet and nice, but more sexy in my opinion.

The basic plotline (affair) is obviously similar. But also the complexity of the relationships. Both are drams that are darker, more intense romances that really challenge views and make them think about love and life.

Hirugao is the more serious, somber show about affairs, and Fukigen na Kajitsu has more romanticized affairs with a lot of intimate scenes. Both have lonely wives with disinterested husbands, as well as awkward mother-in-law relationships where the mother-in-law is too involved and doting. Both involve wives contemplating/weighing the value of an affair before it starts, but Hirugao focuses more on those affected and morals.

Similar in a sense that it is both about cheating, and the ML's are serious about the FL's even if its just an affair or a one time thing. Both ML's are good looking and handsome.

A bit similar love affair story with different story line in Hirugao both of the leads having an affair. In Kingyo Tsuma only the FL & FL husband plus other housewives who live in the same apartment complex having an affair. If you like love affairs genre this drama is a must watch. Iwata Takanori is too adorable.
