Title Love Me
I wouldn't have minded if the show ended in episode 7. It was just a perfect way to wrap everything up.
Episode 8 with the time jump, makes everything feel strange. The ex returning after almost two decades saying that she's going to get back with the father of her child even tho that kid is all grown up and it's been two years since they made the arrangements for the kid to live with his dad and his girlfriend? simply not possible for a real person to think that. It's so cliché "evil SFL that's obsessed with ML for no reason" is painful to watch. I can't believe anyone can take her seriously.

And the dad being all disrespectful and insensitive, and even trying to play victim after throwing that boom on his kids on such a day? Yikes, but also,I don't see the point of that. We've been here before.

They could've expand the story in so many different directions, I don't really understand why they chose this way.

I'm gonna call them the "sacrifice couple" because one risking everything for her dream and the other risking everything for his revenge was cute AF. They were trying to protect what's important for the other so hard this week. Love them.

I feel bad for the bird tho. She just wanted her child back. And the way Dal kept shaking that cage... I love her, but she deserved all the bird's rage. That baby zen most have a concussion at this point.

I’ll never understand Disney+… their dramas are generally good and they put so much money into them just to…
Their shows do well in Korea, and that seems to be what matters to them, but it really sucks for international fans.

Actually I don't mind if Taepoong often fails in his business, and yes I KNOW life is sometimes uncomfortable.…
Even though I had different expectations, I ended up feeling the same as you.

I didn't care much about the business stuff at the beginning because I was expecting this to be a slice of life or drama about grief. I thought the main theme was going to be about how Tae Poong had to deal with the lose of his father and his life as he knew it. Having to live in his employee's home and support his mom, giving up on his dream of flowers and having to start from zero in a place he doesn't know or understand.
I thought there was going to be a big connection between him and his father's colleagues. That they would embrace him and help him develop his skills and shape his values so he could become the great boss his father once was. Or that he would bond with his bestie over how their both families ended up almost on the streets. Or help his mom deal with her feeling of hopelessness... But then none of that happened. Except for the romance with Min Seo, all his relationships stayed shallow.

So I kinda started to pay more attention to the "office" aspect of the show and realized what you just said. Everything is about the company having luck one second and losing that luck the next second. Either because they make bad decisions or because the villains play evil. The characters' skills or values don't really matter. They can just solve stuff by making Tae Poong gamble a part of his body/life in a contract. lol

This show is like ONE episode of a procedural on repeat, because at least procedurals have like different cases per episode and stuff. This one is just the same thing over and over again: They got lucky, then unlucky then Tae Poong risked something important to fixed it, because even if they're not getting paid, they should risk their lives for the job! (I wouldn't want to work with them, tbh).

Like you said, it isn't a show that gives much insight about the business or the crisis or even life. My favorite storyline has been the secondary couple tbh. Min Oh's dynamic with other characters (her siblings, boyfriend, TP's mom etc) is everything. Love her.

This couple is everything but Se Dol is my number #1. Him knowing his Prince so well and choosing to help Dal... awwww. Cutest eunuch ever. Love him.

It would be hilarious if he realizes that they switched.

I am mid ep 6 : Am I the only one who finds SML a bit annoying... hope he snaps out of it soon. when he said ''marry…
Nah, same. I don't like the cousin. He didn't do shit for his girlfriend, gave up on her and their relationship in a flash but now he's trying to play hero for someone else's girl?
And what's with him trying to force these women into marrying people they don't like as if marriage would solve their problems magically?

He's pretending to be all moral and good but he's just a coward. Everyone else is trying their best to protect what they love and he's just getting in the way of it.
I'm so glad the CP was in Dal's body right now. That marriage proposal was BS.

Are we just ignoring the fact that ML thinks she is a cheater and he especially hate cheaters due to his dad cheating…
His personal family issues or his feelings for her don't justify anything of what he did to her, especially because he never explained any of that to her. He wasn't completely honest with her either.

This isn't about lying being right or that his feelings don't matter. The thing is HOW he handled the whole situation. What she did in NO way justifies such reaction. He only knew her for like a day. So finding out she isn't the person he thought she was could be disappointing but he should also understand that it wasn't something personal. It's not like she wanted to hurt his feelings. Plus, she apologized sincerely. She isn't trying to play with him or anything. So if he's projecting his family drama on her, that's not her fault.
And just because he's traumatized doesn't mean that he can go around hurting everyone's hard work.

And if he really didn't want her to see her, he could've at least listen to her situation and find something that works for them. Because she's not there to make him miserable, she's there to pay her bills. And he isn't there to really work, just to protect his mom. So he could at least understand that this isn't about him but about her family. Anyone would be able to understand that and stop acting as if she had tried to scam him or something.

She's just a stranger, so of course she doesn't understand why he's acting like it's something deeper than just a kiss. And he never really explained her either so what's she's supposed to do about it?

He can't be hurt all he wants, but what makes people mature or immature, thoughtful or not, empathetic or cold, etc, it all depends on how people deal with their own feelings and how people treat others. And if this guy reacted like this over her lie, when she's basically a stranger. I don't wanna know how he would react to other stuff. The fact that he's a mama boy but doesn't even care about the four(three) mothers working under him says VOLUMES about him. Nothing the FL did justifies the way he's acting. If he's an adult and a boss, he should act like it.

It's not about people's reasoning skills my friend, it's common sense. People have a certain standards and a sense of what's acceptable or not. Welcome to people having values and opinions.

PS. Yeah, she could've told him the truth from the beginning but they're strangers. She literally doesn't know him, and he's her boss. She doesn't know if he would fire her for lying or not. Plus, telling her entire family situation to a random guy she almost slept with once is not her thing. She was already embarrassed about her unemployment and lied to him in the past.
It's so easy to see things from his perspective but understanding the FL is wild work? I don't think so.

The only thing I agree with you is that the misunderstanding is frustrating.
And thinking that they're gonna fall for each other while he thinks she's married and has a kid is very weird to me. The friend being added to the mix doesn't help.

They're hilarious and adorable. I love this couple so much.
The final scenes had me rolling on my bed. First because they looked adorable and then because of the second hand embarrassment LMAO.

Drama, please STAY GOOD. I've been dropping romcoms like flies this year, it's wild.

FL: has real life problems with debt, sick mom and unemployment. Pretty much could end up homeless.
ML: We spent like a day and a half together and kissed twice, so get out of my face and starve to death with your six years old child, because Idk what earning a living, or maturity, or just common sense, actually means!!

Dude, how in the world am I supposed to take this guy seriously and ship him with our FL, or any woman for that matter? The fact that he saw her kneel in front of him and he still kept acting like a 12 years old was ridiculous. Idk much about office work, but your boss harassing you to quit because you met in the past and kissed twice sounds like something you should be able to report to HR.

PS2. I kinda want the SFL to be a villain. Everyone treats her like trash and no one cares about what she wants.…
So, because he saved her she should've been like "wow, he tried to help me so now he has the right to ruin my life. I'm going to marry him and let him use me against my dad because now my life has no real value and what happens to me doesn't matter anymore"???

Him saving her life doesn't solve her problems. And he can't really complain when he refused to stop the marriage himself. That's the point.

So yeah, the CP has the right to punish her for trying to kill him. They're simply going to do what they have to do. Same for her and him. They don't owe each other anything. It's nothing personal.

You seem to be the only person here who not only has not criticised the actress herself but also likes the character.…
Ah, yeah. Don't worry. I was simply explaining why I wasn't attacking the actress like everyone else. I understood your point.

And same. Her acting doesn't deserve any particular reaction, imo. Neither positive nor negative attention, because it literally doesn't stand out in any way.

It's not like she's in any position to care about random people rn. And why should she care about the CP and his people? Does he care about her? Nope. He literally couldn't care less about how she was dragged into this whole mess against her will.

Now that he knows she's doing all this because she loves his cousin he's planning to forgive her and let her go? No. He's simply waiting for the right timing to punish her (aka. kill her).

She's no saint, but she's definitely not worse than anyone else.

After watching multiple sageuk what i understand is that women in the palace are not supposed to go out that often.…
I say it because they know the left minister has people on them, so it doesn't make sense got them to just expose her all the time.
They are easily be the same spies he has always work with, which means they would definitely know the face of all his enemies, including the Crown Princess.

They seem to be bad at their job, fortunately.

And why would you put my girl Dal I in danger by saying she's your girlfriend? Not that the Crown Prince is doing a better job of keeping her identity low profile but yikes. It's a miracle no one has recognized her so far.

PS. I love the body switch trope. Let's goooo.
