Its clear you did not read the synopis when the drama was announced
And why would I do that? For me the whole point is to be surprised and/or impressed by the show. Plus, knowing what's going to happen doesn't matter when the whole point is the execution.
The show did better the duo of the FL and haraboji than the FL and the ML's dynamic, that's the execution. Reading the synopsis wouldn't change that. If you like the show, good for you. I have my own opinion and preferences.
Yes, nothing about her screamed "teacher", let alone a teacher of kids that age, but oh my cat the ML was annoying AF. He gave me Hometown CCC flashbacks.
Is Eun Soo’s friend trying to steal her husband? Why is she always feeding him and visiting him? Am I missing…
I can't take her seriously. The man has ZERO interest for her and he's literally busy fighting freaking cancer and worried about the disaster his wife needs to clean because of him. Like, what does she expect? It's almost sad to see her try so hard lmao
Nah, sis, why burn the money? At this point everyone already knows it's you. She should just pay for her house and her husband's treatment and wait for the police at her door. Maybe burning the remaining drugs is fine, but the money? After everything she went through? Never.
All these characters are so precious. And I love how every single relationship and dynamic is so heartwarming and cute to watch.
I would react like Seok Joo, because wtf was that Hae. That most be like top 3 scariest ways to find out your love one is dying.
As I said before. I just love Je Yeon as a FL. I love how she doesn't have anything figured out and is still in the process of finding herself but she's so honest about it.
From the letter, the kiss, to the bros ruining the mood, I loved every single scene filmed in that house. Hae-Je best couple. They're adorable. The restaurant date broke my heart completely, tho. ㅠㅠ
LOL Sa Rang (love) and Ki Bum (happiness) being brothers tracks. I want to see Seok Joo's reaction to those two.
Tae Rin and Seok Joo are everything. EVERYTHING.
PS. Can we get Geon No hyung a boyfriend already? Like, the cat is cute but he was the only one alone watching the first snow and he deserves all the love in the world.
This is a makjang. Which means is over the top stuff. Which means the point is for everything to be messy and…
Well, the attorney said "don't get involved with a man, that's what ruins a woman's life" which means 100% messy romance on center stage. It is gonna be a big deal. If it is unbearable or not I guess it depends on individual expectations.
I am scared for the romance. I hope it doesn't ruin the thriller aspect of the drama, the first two eps were really…
This is a makjang. Which means is over the top stuff. Which means the point is for everything to be messy and dramatic, and yeah, romance is great at that. So these type of shows will always have romance in it.
Idk who thought of casting the Young Ae x Young Kwang duo, but thank you. They are fun together.
PS. Her friend was supportive, and her husband genuinely likes her. Why did they decide to add some useless cliché storyline as if this was Penthouse. The guy is even dying. Maybe show him with his daughter instead??? Such a weird a storyline.
There are lazy ways to make a time jump and separation happen and then there's this show. And I can't even imagine how stupid the angst is gonna get in the future. Yikes.
No one protected her as a child, or even after she got married. And she was okay with that until the one in danger was her own child. She decided to protect him and then she felt capable of protecting other kids and women in the same situation. Because she knew no one was going to save them, just like her. The thing is that she couldn't fix everything for everyone. So the only person she truly save was Su Yeol. She made sure he had support growing up. She found a good person that could be a good role model and made him responsible for her kid in her place. That's why Su Yeol grew up well. Not only because she protected him by killing the dad, but because she made plans for his future.
An Na/Ju Hyeon, Min Jae and any other kid in a similar situation didn't have that. They were forgotten and no one cared about them. They got stuck in the past thinking of that one person who seemed to care even if only for a little moment. That's why they adored I Shin and An Na ended up wanting to be a serial killer when she grew up. If only one damn adult had done their job back then, she could've find other alternatives in life (and my boy Min Jae would be alive). We will never know.
Sad that the chief detective got killed. He was the only person who took responsibility for the police's incompetence and how their broken system gave an opening to what mama Mantis did. He genuinely cared about the people and not the "police pride" or wtv BS his boss was on.
Su Yeol calling her mom... 🥺🥺 I loved that scene so much. And then the Christmas picture of the whole family... 🥺
Jung I Shin's crime wasn't killing abusive perverts. Her true crime was to be so cool all the kids in the neighborhood ended up wanting her as their mom when she only cared about Jeong Ho.
And the true villain: everyone that did nothing to protect the women and children in that place. The fact that, as a child, the killer was literally living in CHAINS and no one did anything to save her until JIS killed her dad is OUTRAGEOUS. Instead of wasting their time calling everyone "monster" and making excuses, they should be focusing on fixing the system. At least that one detective knows who is truly responsible for this mess.
I am in love with the dialogue and thoughtful conversations between everyone. I haven’t seen a show like this…
I was frustrated he didn't tell her the truth at first but the explanation actually made sense. Hae not being comfortable with the truth himself, plus seeing their potential "future" together full of tears, was probably a confusing moment for him.
I like that he actually had a reason to not tell her in that precise moment. It wasn't about not telling her forever, like the typical "I'm gonna hide this from you just because" nonsense. So I'll forgive the writer this time. LOL
I don't remember a FL this raw since Oh Hae Young Again. I love Je Yeon. She's so honest with her feelings. She has done everything she can. Hae, it's your turn now. It's on you.
The scene with the dad was heartbreaking. I was in tears.
And Hae should learn from his experience with his dad and be honest with his own kid. Or is he planning to dump her on her bio mother and then die in secret??? Just tell her you're sick and stop being so mean to the kid.
The second couple is fire. Or should I say bubbles? LOL I really like them together.

PS. Those pictures are from Su Ah, right?

Tbh I wouldn't mind if we never get to the present. I enjoyed the duo of Yeong Ran and chairman.
